After a few weeks of heavy winter even by local standards, the outing to Budapest this weekend was blessed by very mild, almost spring-like, conditions. So the team could travel in much more pleasant and safer circumstances.

As mentioned in previous blog post, the Saturday match was scheduled with the very respectable BVSC Zuglo Diapolo, staged at Margaret Island. It was again a privilege to play with one of the main suppliers of talent for the Hungarian national team. They entered the pool as the team situated on 2nd place in the championship table, whilst Aquasport's lads were 5th.

The match started very tight, first quarter ending with score 3-1 for Aquasport, then the lads have started to dominate categorically and the next quarters ended with scores of 7-4, 11-6 and then final score of 15-7 for Aquasport.

Congratulations for the fantastic adrenalin-pumping match and the superb performance, and many thanks to their opponents for a truly high-calibre spectacle of water polo.

We are grateful for this really intense and exciting water polo weekend, we wish the team a pleasant journey home and a good rest on Sunday.

După câteva săptămâni de iarnă aprigă, deplasarea la Budapesta în acest sfârșit de săptămână a fost binecuvântat de o vreme foarte blândă, aproape una de primăvară. Așa că echipa a putut călători în condiții mult mai plăcute și mai sigure.

Cum am menționat în articolul trecut, meciul de sâmbătă a fost programat cu respectabilă echipă BVSC Zuglo Diapolo, pe insula Margareta. A fost iar un privilegiu să jucăm cu una din principalele furnizoare de talent pentru echipa națională a Ungariei. Ei au intrat în bazin fiind situați pe locul doi în clasamentul campionatului, în timp ce Aquasport era pe locul cinci.

Meciul a început foarte strâns, primul sfert sfârşindu-se cu scorul de 3-1 pentru Aquasport, apoi băieţii au început să domine categoric, scorurile fiind apoi 7-4, 11-6 şi scorul final devenind 15-7 pentru Aquasport.

Felicitări la toţi pentru meciul fantastic plin cu adrenalină şi pentru performanţa superbă, şi multe mulţumiri adversarilor pentru un spectacol de polo pe apă de nivel foarte înalt.

Suntem recunoscători pentru un weekend de polo pe apă foarte intens și excitant, urăm echipei o călătorie ușoară spre casă și odihnă plăcută duminică.

Egy pár hetig tartott kegyetlen tél utána hétvégi budapesti kiszállásra szerencsére szinte tavaszias körülmények között került sor. Így a csapat sokkal kellemesebb és biztonságosabb módon utazhatott el.

Mint előző blog jegyzetben említettük, a szombati meccs a tiszteletet parancsoló BVSC Zugló Diapolo csapatával volt a Margitszigeten. Ismét egy kiváltság volt játszani a magyar válogatott egyik fő utánpótló csapatúval. Ők a bajnokság táblázatában a második helyen állva kezdték ezt a fordulót, míg az Aquasport ötödik helyen állt.

A meccs nagyon szorosan indult, az első negyed 3-1 eredménnyel végződött az Aquasport javára, de utána a srácok hatarozottan dominálni kezdtek, a következő negyedek eredményei 7-4, 11-6 voltak majd a meccs végeredménye 15-7 lett az Aquasport javára.

Gratulálunk egy fantasztikus adrenalinnal telitett meccsért és egy szuper teljesitményért, külön köszönet ellenfeleinknek egy nagyon magas szintű vizilabda előadásért.

Hálásak vagyunk mindenkinek az intenzív és izgalmas vízilabda hétvégéért, kellemes hazautazást és jó vasárnapi pihenést kívánunk a csapatnak.
