Winter holidays have started on a very active note for the boys. Friday evening the Minimax and Aquasport teams have played a match together (see photos here) - and, at dawn, they departed as a new combined team to Oradea for the Transilvania Cup.

Ending up in the tougher group with Crisul Oradea, Viitorul Cluj and Arad was perfect for further developing the cohesion between the Minimax and Aquasport players.

The lads threw themselves into the new challenge with gusto :). They won the match against Arad (14-4), played a tight match against Cluj (where only in the last quarter Cluj managed to distance itself by 3 goals and win 4-7), and had an expected stormy match that was won by Oradea "A" team with 23-4.

This placed the newly combined team on 3rd place in the group, and 5th in the combined table of the Transilvania Cup.

Congrats all, and have a very relaxing journey home, and an even more relaxing winter holiday with lots of delicious calories :) !

Vacanța de iarnă a început foarte activ pentru băieți. Vineri seara echipele Minimax și Aquasport au jucat un meci împreună (pozele se pot vedea aici), apoi în zori au plecat spre Oradea, la Cupa Transilvania, ca o nouă echipă combinată.

Grupa mai tare, cu Crisul Oradea, Viitorul Cluj și Arad, a fost perfectă pentru dezvoltarea coeziunii între jucătorii Minimax și Aqua.

Băieții s-au aruncat cu mult gust în această încercare :). Au câștigat meciul cu Arad (14-4), au jucat un meci foarte strâns cu Clujul, echipa clujeană reușind să se distanțeze numai în ultimul sfert cu 3 goluri, câștigând 4-7. Au jucat un meci previzibil de furtunos cu Crisul, câștigat de oradeni cu 23-4.

Echipa combinată în acest fel s-a clasat pe locul trei în grupă și locul cinci pe tabela Cupei Transilvania.

Felicitări tuturor și călătorie relaxantă spre casă - și o vacanță de iarnă și mai relaxantă cu multe calorii delicioase! :)

A sráacok téli vakációja nagyon aktívan indult. Péntek este a Minimax és Aquasport játszott együtt egy meccset (fotók itt láthatóak), majd hajnalban elindultak kombinált csapatként a váradi Transzilvánia Kupára.

A nagyváradi Kőrös, a kolozsvári Viitorul és az aradi csapatokból álló csoport volt a keményebb dió, de ez ideális volt a Minimax és Aqua játékosai közötti kohézió további fejlesztésére.

A srácok jó étvággyal vetették be magukat a küzdelembe :) Arad ellen 14-4-re nyertek, a kolozsváriak egy szoros meccs után csak az utolsó negyedben sikerült felülkerekedjenek három gólos fölénnyel (4-7 volt a javukra), míg várhatóan viharos meccsen a váradiak győztek 23-4-re.

A kombinált csapat így a csoportban harmadik, a Kupa összesített táblázatán pedig ötödik helyen végzett.

Gratula mindenkinek és relax utat hazafele - és még lazább téli vakációt, sok finom kalóriával! :)

We are greatly saddened by the news that Gabor "Pocó" Nagy, one of the legendary personalities of local and international water polo, has passed away at the age of 82 - our most sincere condolences to the family and friends.

Born in Tirgu Mures, he was five times national water polo champion, three time national goalgetter, and national team captain (1954-'56). He was also four times national swimming champion and twice national ice hockey champion in the 1950s. He was selected for the Olympic team in 1952 and 1956, the politics of the time overshadowed his chances to participate in the 1952 Helsinki games.

Gabor emigrated to the USA in 1956, where he became triple American water polo champion and he was three times in the All-American team. He graduated at the USC (University of Southern California) in film studies, and, with his FilmCorp56 company, remained an active producer and director to the very end. One of the many memorable moments of his creative career remains the water polo film that in 1965 featured the Academy Award Winning actor Burt Lancaster as host and narrator.

We cannot forget how he kindly visited the water polo juniors in 2012 in our hometown; the very young players and everyone at the pool still remember vividly this sport legend's kindness, charm, and his wonderful anecdotes. It was characteristic of him that anyone who had the chance to meet him, even if for a short while, was left with lasting lovely impressions and fond memories of Gabor.

May God rest his soul in peace - but also, many superb matches, our beloved Gabor, in an eternal pool with all the legendary greats of the sport you loved some much and excelled so formidably in!

Am primit cu enormă tristețe vestea că Gabor "Pocó" Nagy, unul din personajele legendare ale polo-ului local și internațional, a încetat din viață la vârsta de 82 de ani. Condoleanțele noastre cele mai sincere familiei și prietenilor.

Născut în Tîrgu Mureș, a fost de cinci ori campion național de polo, de trei ori golghetter cu echipa națională și căpitan al acestuia (1954-56). Totodată a fost de patru ori campion național de înot, și de două ori campion național în hockey pe gheață în anii 1950. A fost selecționat în echipa Olimpică de polo în 1952 și 1956, cu toate că motive politice din acea vreme au împiedicat participarea dânsului la jocurile de la Helsinki.

Dânsul a emigrat în SUA în 1956, unde a devenit triplu campion național de polo și a fost de trei ori in selecționata All-American. A obținut diplomă în studii de film la USC (University of Southern California), și-a înființat propria companie de film Filmcorp56, și a fost regizor și producător activ pănâ la sfârșit. Unul din multele momente memorabile ale carierei sale creative rămâne filmul despre polo, realizat în 1965, care l-a avut pe narator pe actorul premiat cu Oscar, marele Burt Lancaster.

Nu putem să uităm că a vizitat și juniorii de polo în 2012 la bazinul din Mureș; foarte tinerii jucători și toți care au fost la bazin în acea seară au amintiri vii despre bunătatea, șarmul și anecdotele de neuitat ale acestei legende ale sportului. A fost o trăsătură caracteristică a dânsului că oricine care a avut prilejul să-l întâlnească în viață, chiar și pentru scurt timp, a rămas cu impresii și amintiri plăcute despre Gabor.

Dumnezeu să-l odihnească în pace - dar, totodată, să aibă parte de multe meciuri superbe într-un bazin etern cu toate legendele eterne ale sportului pe care ai iubit atât de mult și în care a excelat formidabil!

Mély fájdalommal értesülünk arról, hogy Nagy "Pocó" Gábor, a helyi és nemzetközi vízilabda egyik legendás személyisége, örökre eltávozott közülünk 82 évesen. Legmélyebb részvétünket szeretnénk kifejezni családjának és barátainak.

Nagy Gábor Marosvásárhelyen született, ötször vízilabda országos bajnok volt, háromszor a válogatott gólgettere, a válogatott csapatkapitánya is volt 1954-56 között. Négyszer volt úszó országos bajnok, kétszer pedig jégkorong országos bajnok az 50-es években. Az 1952-es és 1956-os vízilabda olimpiai csapatba is beválasztották, noha az akkori politikai helyzet megakadályozta Helsinkiben való részvételét.

1956-ban az Egyesült Államokban telepedett le, ahol háromszoros országos vízilabda bajnok volt, és az All American válogatott tagja volt szintén háromszor. Az USC dél-kaliforniai egyetemen filmművészet szakot végzett, és saját Filmcorp56 nevű filmcégével élete végéig aktív producer és rendező maradt. Alkotó karrierjének egyik emlékezetes pillanata az 1965-ben forgatott vízilabda film, amelynek az Oscar díjas filmlegenda, Burt Lancaster volt a narrátora.

Nem fogjuk soha elfelejteni városunk medencéjénél tett látogatását sem 2012-ben. A nagyon fiatal vízilabda játékosok, és mindazok akik jelent voltak azon az estén a medence körül, élénken emlékeznek e sportlegenda kedvességére, elbűvölő modorára és felejthetetlen anekdotáira. Egyik jellemző tulajdonsága volt Gábornak, hogy mindenki, akinek volt alkalma vele találkozni az életben még ha rövid időre is, kellemes benyomásokat és emlékeket szerzett róla.

Isten nyugosztalja - de ugyanakkor, legyen része sok csodás meccsben egy örök medencében azon sport örök legendáival, amelyet annyira szeretett és amelyben annyira kiváló volt!

Saturday, on the 6 December, the swimming competition organized by our hometown's H2O club will again gather many enthusiasts under the pressurised tent of the olympic pool at the Weekend Leisure Complex.

Water polo players will also be among the swimmers, and four very energetic :) lads from Aquasport will be in the pool's lanes this weekend: Dan Ionut, David Kiraly, David Magyari and Daniel Micliuc in alphabetic order.

Lots of success boys! - and lots of fun, too, at an exciting competition where spectators passionate about swimming are also very warmly welcome!

Sâmbătă, în data de 6 decembrie, clubul H2O din orașul nostru organizează un concurs de înot care iar va aduna mulți entuziaști sub cortul presurizat al piscinei olimpice de la Complexul Weekend.

Și jucători de polo vor fi între înotători, patru băieți foarte energici :) de la Aquasport vor concura pe pistele din bazin: Dan Ionuț, Dávid Király, Dávid Magyari și Daniel Micliuc, în ordine alfabetică.

Mult succes băieți! dar și distracție plăcută la un concurs under spectatorii pasionați de înot sunt foarte bineveniți!

Szombaton, december hatodikán, a városunk H2O klubja által szervezett úszóverseny ismét összegyűjt majd sok szenvedélyes sportolót a Víkendtelep olimpiai medencéjének sátra alatt.

Vízilabdások is ott lesznek az úszók között, az Aquasport négy energikus sráca :), névsor szerint Dan Ionuț, Király Dávid, Magyari Dávid és Daniel Micliuc is a medence sávjaiban lesznek megtalálhatóak e hétvégén.

Sok sikert fiúk! és jó szórakozást is ezen izgalmas versenyen, ahol minden úszás iránt érdeklődő nézőt is szeretettel várunk!

After a busy summer holiday filled with competitions, and after more than a month of school, the lads have gotten into their heavy work rhythm in the new water polo season, too. 

The blog's little gremlin was also busy, but with nothing compared to the activity level of these boys :) - but finally returns to the blog's housekeeping, too.

Some very fresh images from the training session show the teams at work, during an evening training session - have a very successful season lads!

După o vacanță de vară plină cu competiții, și după mai mult de o lună de școală, băieții deja și-au regăsit ritmul intens de lucru și la antrenamentele de polo.

Micul spiriduș al blogului a fost cam ocupat, dar cu nimic în comparație cu nivelul de activitate al acestor băieți :) - și acum se reîntoarce și la chestiile ”casnice” ale acestui blog.

Câteva imagini foarte proaspete arată echipele la lucru, în timpul unui antrenament de seară - și mult succes în noul sezon competițional băieți!

Egy versenyekkel telített nyári vakáció és már több mint egy hónap suli után a srácok már alaposan megtalálták ismét a szokásos kemény munkaritmusukat a vízilabda edzéseken is.

A blog kis manója is elfoglalt volt, de korántsem olyan aktivitás szinten, mint ezek a srácok :) - de most végre visszatért a blog "háztáji" munkájához is.

Egy pár nagyon friss fotón láthatóak a csapatok egy esti edzésük közben - nagyon sok sikert az új szezonban fiúk!

The national children's championship concluded today at Oradea, and the lads are returning home after four days of matches.

The tournament, as hoped, was more about water polo this time than personal and political interests within the Federation - and it certainly stays as a memorable "baptism of fire" for the very young players.

The boys won two matches, and the scores were: Aquasport - CSM Cluj 10-3, Aquasport - CSS1 Bucharest 3-2, Aquasport - Crisul Oradea 3-11, Aquasport - Steaua Bucharest 2-7, Aquasport - Dinamo Bucharest 0-6, Aquasport -Triumf Bucharest 3-8 , Aquasport -Viitorul Cluj 3-10.

Thus, the children who, after a huge gap that had lasted since the 1980s, represented Tirgu Mures at the final tournaments of the national championship with a very fresh team, can return to their hometown with a total of three victories in two stages.

So big congratulations to the boys and coach Razvan Paltineanu, have a safe journey home and superb continuation of your summer holiday!

 Campionatul național de copii s-a încheiat azi la Oradea și băieții sunt în drum spre casă după patru zile de meciuri.

Turneul, după cum era de sperat, era de data aceasta mai mult despre polo decât despre interese personale și de politică federală - și rămâne fără îndoială un botez de foc foarte memorabil pentru jucătorii foarte tineri.

Scorurile au fost, cu două victorii: Aquasport - CSM Cluj 10-3, Aquasport - CSS1 București 3-2, Aquasport - Crișul Oradea 3-11, Aquasport - Steaua București 2-7, Aquasport - Dinamo București 0-6, Aquasport -Triumf București 3-8 , Aquasport -Viitorul Cluj 3-10.

Așadar, copiii care, după o pauză enormă care a durat din anii 1980, au reprezentat Târgu Mureș la turneul final al campionatului național cu o echipă foarte proaspătă se pot întoarce în orașul lor natal cu un total de trei victorii în cele două etape.

Deci enorme felicitări pentru băieți și antrenorul lor Răzvan Păltineanu - călătorie plăcută sper casă și vacanță superbă în continuare!

Az országos gyerek bajnokság ma ért véget Nagyváradon, és a srácok négy nap meccsei után most vannak útban hazafele.

A turné, mint remélni lehetett, ezúttal inkább a vízilabdáról szólt és nem szövetségi egyéni meg politikai érdekekről. Mindenképpen egy rendkívül emlékezetes tűzkeresztség marad a nagyon fiatal játékosok emlékezetében.

Az eredmények a következőek voltak két győzelem után: Aquasport - CSM Kolozsvár 10-3, Aquasport - CSS1 Bukarest 3-2, Aquasport - Crișul Nagyvárad 3-11, Aquasport - Steaua Bukarest 2-7, Aquasport - Dinamo Bukarest 0-6, Aquasport -Triumf Bukarest 3-8 , Aquasport -Viitorul Kolozsvár 3-10.
Így a gyerekek, akik az 1980-as évek óta tartó rendkívül hosszú szünet után az országos bajnokságon képviselték Marosvásárhelyt egy nagyon friss csapattal, a két döntő fordulóban kivívott összesen három győzelemmel térhetnek haza.

Ezért hatalma gratula a srácoknak és Răzvan Păltineanu edzőnek! Jó utat hazafele és szuper további nyári vakációt!

Politics and children's water polo ● Politică și polo de copii ● Politika és gyerek vízilabda

The 2nd finals tournament of the children's national championship takes place in Oradea, between 14-17 August. The timetable can be seen below.

It will hopefully be more about water polo than about Federation politics, which have been raging for months, and also managed to affect the previous final tournament with the fall-out from the intrigues around ongoing power struggles.

This, among other things, made some Federation officials to directly violate, during the already ongoing children's championship, the published and valid official regulations (sections A4, B, B2, D) on the following (without any official changes published nor clubs notified):

• the qualification criteria and number of the North and South Zones' teams (as cutting the number of North Zone teams was attempted after both qualification round's official results);
• the participation of a Federation-certified player (in direct violation of the respective paragraphs, an unofficial "reason" was invented - and only communicated during the first final tournament).

Thankfully, the violations have been so blatantly clear that these were successfully escalated to higher authorities and actions had been promptly taken. Thus one hopes that sport can be again the main focal point of the children's tournament, irrespective of scores, tensions between clubs in Târgu Mureș, and power-struggles in the Federation. 

It is also deplorable how someone from another club, caught up in these political games, could intentionally sabotage the way in which his own city's could have been represented at a national level by children - especially after several decades of this city not having been represented at the most junior age group at national level.

This is the lowest level one can reach with regards to sport, to his own city, and, above all, to the children - regardless of club, interests, motivations or results that could be expected realistically.

One day some will, perhaps, realise that every such action most directly attacks the children - not the coaches, not other clubs, and not the adversaries in their power games.

However, to get back (hopefully) to sport... all the best to the participating team and have a fantastic 4 days at Oradea, boys!

Al doilea turneu final al campionatului național de copii se va desfășura la Oradea între 14-17 august. Orarul meciurilor se poate vedea mai jos.

Se speră că de această dată, turneul va fi mai mult despre sport decât luptele politice din Federație care durează de luni de zile și au reușit să afecteze primul turneu final din cauza intrigilor legate de acelea.

Aceasta, printre altele, a dus la violarea directă a regulamentului competițional al Federației chiar de către unii oficiali ai Federației, înaintea și chiar deja în timpul desfășurării turneului de copii!

Secțiunile violate (A4, B, B2, D) ale regulamentului publicat și în vigoare (fără schimbări oficiale publicate și aduse la atenția cluburilor) erau referitoare la:

• criteriile de calificare și numărul echipelor din Zonele Nord și Sud (tăierea numărului echipelor din Nord a fost încercată după ce rezultatele oficiale ale celor două turnee de calificare existau),
• participarea unui jucător deja legitimat de către Federație (în clară violare a respectivelor paragrafe, un motiv ad-hoc fără fond a fost inventat la primul turneu final, pentru a anula dreptul de participare).

Din fericire, încălcarea propriilor lor reguli a fost atât de clară, că aceasta a fost adusă la atenția autorităților superioare Federației, și prompt s-au luat pași concreți. Așadar se speră că sportul va fi în focus la turneul de copii, indiferent de scoruri, tensiuni între unele cluburi mureșene, și luptele politice din Federație.

Totodată este deplorabil și faptul că și oficial mureșean de la alt club, activ în lupta politică, a sabotat intenționat modul în care propriul său oraș ar fi putut să fie reprezentat la nivel național de către o echipă copiii - mai ales după ce câteva decenii Mureșul nu a fost reprezentat la acest nivel și la această grupă de vârstă.

Este punctul cel mai de jos la care cineva poate ajunge față de sport, față de orașul nostru - și în principal, față de copii... indiferent de club, interese, motivații, sau rezultatele care se pot aștepta în mod realist.

Poate în viitor, cândva, unii vor înțelege că fiecare acțiune de acest gen atacă direct copiii în principal - și nu antrenorii, nici celelalte cluburi, și nici unii adversari în jocurile pentru putere...

Dar, întorcându-ne (să sperăm) la sport... mult succes echipelor participante și să aveți patru zile superbe la Oradea, băieți!

Augusztus 14-17 között Nagyváradon zajlik le a gyerek országos bajnokság második döntő turnéja. A meccsek órarendje lentebb látható.

Remélhető, hogy e turné ismét sportról fog szólni, és nem a Szövetségben hónapok úta dúló politikai harcról, amely az első döntő turnéra is kihatott. A zajló intrikák egyik megnyilvánulásaként egyes szövetségi vezetők közvetlen módon áthágták saját szabályzatukat, az első döntő turné előtt és annak folyamatban léte közben is.

A szabályzat következő pontokra vonatkozó részeit hágták át (A4, B, B2, D fejezetekben), hivatalos szabálymódosítás közlése és klubok erről történő értesítése nélkül:

• az északi és déli zónák csapatainak selejtezési kritériumai és a bejutott csapatok zónánkénti száma (az északi zóna bejutott csapatainak számát igyekeztek csökkenteni, már a két selejtező turné hivatalos eredményei után),
• a Szövetség által klubhoz leigazolt játékos részvételi joga (az erre vonatkozó paragrafusok nyilvánvaló megszegése történt egy improvizált, nemhivatalos okkal amelyet az első döntő turnékor találtak ki).

Szerencsére a szabályzat megszegései annyira nyilvánvalóak voltak, hogy a problémát sikerült a Szövetség feletti hatóságokhoz felterjeszteni és konkrét lépések is születtek. Így csak remélni lehet, hogy talán a gyerekek turnéján ismét a sport kerül a középpontba, függetlenül eredményektől, egyes marosvásárhelyi klubok közötti feszültségtől és a Szövetség politikai harcaitól.

Ugyanakkor gyászos, hogy a hatalmi harcban aktív és más klubhoz tartozó marosvásárhelyi kulcsszemély is szándékosan szabotálta a városnak gyerekek által történő országos szinten való képviselését - főleg amikor több évtizede a város nem jutott be az országos döntőbe a legfiatalabb korcsoportokban.

Ez a legalacsonyabb pont, amit egy személy elérhet a sporttal, a várossal és főleg a gyerekekkel szemben, klubhoz való hozzátartozástól, érdekektől, motivációktól, és reálisan várható eredményektől függetlenül.

Talán, valamikor a jövőben, egyesek meg fogják érteni, hogy minden ilyen eljárásuk nem egyes edzőket, nem rivális klubokat, és nem egyes hatalomharci ellenfeleket támad, hanem legfőképpen a gyerekeket...

De, hogy (remélhetőleg) visszatérjünk a sporthoz... sok sikert a résztvevő csapatoknak, és szuper négy napot Nagyváradon, srácok!

The first final tournament of the children's national championship has just ended in the capital, Bucharest, where each team played seven matches.

It was impressive to see that the boys, for whom such a championship was a real baptism of fire, had dealt with the numerous pressures arising from the environment, the forum itself and of course the often vast differences in teams' experience and tradition. As shown by a victory and some tight scores, for which they deserve big congratulations, the very new team's players have not lost their fighting spirit during the four days of matches played against the cream of the country's water polo.

The scores were: Aquasport - CSM Cluj 5-1, Steaua Bucharest - Aquasport 8-5, Dinamo Bucharest - Aquasport 8-3, Crisul Oradea - Aquasport 12-1, CSS1 Bucharest - Aquasport 10-2, Triumf Bucharest - Aquasport 9-1, Viitorul Cluj - Aquasport 13-2.

The boys and coach Razvan Paltineanu are returning home as we speak, so we wish them a very deserved thorough rest and congrats again for four days of sustained efforts!

Primul Turneul final al campionatului național de copii tocmai a luat sfârșit la București, unde fiecare echipă a jucat șapte meciuri.

A fost impresionant să vedem băieții, pentru care un asemenea campionat a fost un veritabil botez de foc, au făcut față numeroaselor presiuni cauzate de mediu, de acest forum și desigur de enormele diferențe de experiență și tradiție ale multor echipe. Cum o victorie și câteva scoruri strânse arată, pentru care li se cuvin mari felicitări, jucătorii echipei foarte noi nu și-au pierdut spiritul de luptă pe durate celor patru zile de meciuri jucate contra cremei poloului din țară.

Scorurile au fost: Aquasport - CSM Cluj 5-1, Steaua București- Aquasport 8-5, Dinamo București- Aquasport 8-3, Crișul Oradea - Aquasport 12-1, CSS1 București- Aquasport 10-2, Triumf București- Aquasport 9-1, Viitorul Cluj - Aquasport 13-2.

Băieții și antrenorul Răzvan Păltineanu sunt în drum spre casă, așadar dorim tuturor odihnă bună bine meritată, și felicitări încă o dată pentru patru zile de eforturi susținute!

A gyerek országos bajnokság első döntő fordulója most ért véget Bukarestben, ahol minden csapat hét meccset játszott le.

Megkapó volt látni, hogy a srácok, akik számára egy ilyen bajnokság igazi tűzkeresztség volt, a környezet, egy ilyen kaliberű fórum és a nem utolsósorban az ellenfelek hatalmas tapasztalat- és hagyománybeli fölénye által is okozott feszültség ellenében is megállták a helyüket. Mint egy győzelem és pár szoros meccs mutatja, amelyekért nagy gratulációkat érdemelnek, a nagyon új csapat játékosai négy napon át az ország vízilabda krémje ellen játszodva nem vesztették el harckedvüket.

The first final tournament of the children's national championship (for those born in 2001-2002) will take place at Bucharest between 31 July and 3 August.

The lads and coach Razvan Paltineanu have been training at the Transylvanian mountain resort of Toplita (and played with the team from Chisinau, Republic of Moldova), then moved to Oradea through Cluj for more joint training. So after this active period, they are travelling to Bucharest - and since the 1980s, this is the first time our town is represented in this age group there, so congrats!

The timetable of matches is below - lot of success lads!!

 Turneul final 1 al campionatului național de copii (născuți în 2001/02) va avea loc la București între 31 iulie și 3 august.

Băieții și antrenorul Răzvan Păltineanu se pregăteau la Toplița (unde au jucat meci cu echipa de la Chișinău), apoi au continuat la Oradea după o escală la Cluj. După această perioadă activă echipa călătorește la București, unde pentru prima oară din anii 1980 încoace orașul nostru este reprezentat în această grupă de vârstă - felicitări echipei pentru calificare!

Orarul meciurilor se poate vedea mai sus - mult succes băieți!!

A 2001-02-ben született gyerekek országos bajnokságának első döntő fordulója július 31 és augusztus 3 között Bukarestben lesz megtartva.

A srácok Răzvan Păltineanu edzővel Maroshévizen tartottak felkészítőt (ahol a Moldova Köztársaságbeli Kisinyó csapatával játszottak), majd egy kolozsvári átszállás után Nagyváradon folytatták az edzéseket. Onnan indulnak Bukarestbe, ahol a 80-as évek óta ebben a korcsoportban először van városunk képviselve - gratula a csapatnak a bejutásért!

With six teams playing a series of matches over two and a half days in the Olympic pool in our hometown, the second qualification tournament for the Junior III national championship has ended on yesterday for the North Zone.

As in the first tournament, the size and age composition of our team (only seven players, half of the team being from younger 2001-2002 age group) presented an obvious challenge. No matches were won this time round, but there was plenty of tireless action for everyone and admirable efforts - as the albums on the club's Facebook page show. Final scores were: Crisul Oradea - Aquasport 35-0, CSM Oradea - Aquasport 19-2, Viitorul Cluj - Aquasport 14-1, Minimax - Aquasport 9-7, Torpi - Aquasport 13-4.

Summer holiday can start now for the Junior III players, but the younger ones are preparing for the finals of the children's national championship - so we wish all a good rest and summer fun, but also success for the coming weeks!

Cu șase echipe jucând meciuri timp de două zile și jumate în bazinul olimpic din orașul nostru, returul de calificare al campionatului național de Juniori III a luat sfârșit ieri pentru Zona Nord.

Ca și în cazul turului, mărimea și compoziția de vârstă a echipei noastre (numai șapte jucători, din care jumătate din grupa de vârstă de copii 2001/02) a prezentat o dificultate evidentă. De data aceasta nu au fost victorii, dar toți au avut parte de acțiune nonstop și demonstrații frumoase de efort - după cum se poate vedea în albumele de pe pagina Facebook a clubului. Scorurile finale au fost Crisul Oradea - Aquasport 35-0, CSM Oradea - Aquasport 19-2, Viitorul Cluj - Aquasport 14-1, Minimax - Aquasport 9-7, Torpi - Aquasport 13-4.

Vacanța de vară aum poate începe cu adevărat pentru jucătorii Juniori III, dar cei mai tineri se pregătesc pentru turneul final al campionatului național de copii - așadar le dorim odihnă bună dar și succes pentru săptămânile viitoare!

Két és fél napi meccsek után, amelyek során hat csapat találkozott városunk olimpiai medencéjében, az Ifi III-as országos bajnokság második selejtezője tegnap ért véget az északi zóna számára.

Mint az első forduló esetén is, csapatunk mérete és korosztálybeli összetétele (mindössze hét játékos, és a csapat fele a 2001-02-es gyerek korcsoportból állt) nyilvánvaló nehézségeket jelentett. Ezúttal nem voltak győzelmek, de mindenkinek alaposan volt része nonstop akcióban és kemény erőfeszítések sorozatában - amint a klub Facebook oldalán látható albumok is mutatják. A végeredmények: Crisul Nagyvárad- Aquasport 35-0, CSM Nagyvárad- Aquasport 19-2, Viitorul Kolozsvár - Aquasport 14-1, Minimax - Aquasport 9-7, Torpi - Aquasport 13-4.

Az Ifi III-as játékosoknak most igazán kezdődhet a nyári vakáció, de a fiatalabbak készülnek az országos gyerek bajnokság döntő fordulójára - kívánunk mindenkinek jó pihenést, és a gyerek csapatnak sok sikert az elkövetkező hetekben!

At the covered Olympic pool of Weekend leisure complex, the 2nd qualification round of the Junior III national water polo championship takes place for the North Zone's teams between 18-20 July.

La bazinul olimpic acoperit de la complexul Weekend, returul de calificare la campionatul național de Juniori III va avea loc între 18-20 iulie pentru echipele din Zona Nord.
