On Saturday, 3 November, our main training base, the Olympic pool at the Weekend Complex will be the scene of a major swimming competition, too - the H2O Cup.

To the hundreds of swimmers who will compete, including some from our club (Ferenczi Botond, Marton Zoltán, Baki Norbert, Krecz Rolland, Fülöp Kata, Bartalin Roland on 100m sprint), we wish lots of success - and lots of excitement and fun to all the supporters!

Sâmbătă, pe data de 3 noiembrie, baza noastră de antrenament, bazinul Olimpic de la Complexul Weekend va fi scena unei competiții majore de înot, Cupa H2O.

Dorim sutelor de înotători care vor participa, între ei fiind și de la clubul nostru (Ferenczi Botond, Marton Zoltán, Baki Norbert, Krecz Rolland, Fülöp Kata, Bartalin Roland pe 100m craul), mult succes - și tuturor suporterilor distracție excitantă!

Szombaton, november harmadikán az edzőbázisunk, a víkendtelepi olimpiai medence egy nagyszabású úszóverseny, a H2O Kupa helyszíne lesz.

A több száz úszónak, akik között klubunk tagjai is vannak (Ferenczi Botond, Marton Zoltán, Baki Norbert, Krecz Rolland, Fülöp Kata, Bartalin Roland 100m gyorson), sok sikert kívánunk - és a szurkolóknak jó izgalmas szórakozást!

While there was a short break in the Diapolo championship's match calendar for the older team, weekends at the covered pool were made full use of in preparation for next stages there.

Also, the younger team will see the start of the regional championship in Hungary, it begins on 3 November and our team has first match on 10 November, so training and preparation work never stopped.

This weekend the lads had the opportunity of training and playing friendly matches with the team from CSM Brasov, who visited our town, the Weekend Complex and its pool that is our main training base, also with Torpi MS, too. So this was yet another opportunity in and around that pool for networking and joint training sessions.

The information about the regional championship has been posted on the MVLSZ website. On 10 November, the older team, too plays a match, at the next stage at the Diapolo championship.

În timp ce a fost o mică pauză în calendarul campionatului Diapolo pentru echipa mai în vârstă, weekendurile la bazinul acoperit au fost și sunt folosite la maxim pentru pregătirile etapelor următoare.

Totodată, și echipa mai tânără va începe campionatul regional din Ungaria, campionatul începe pe data de 3 noiembrie și echipa are primul meci pe 10 noiembrie, așa că antrenamentele și pregătirile sunt continue și pentru ei.

În acest sfârșit de săptămână, băieții au avut oportunitatea de a se antrena și juca meciuri amicale cu CSM Brașov, care a vizitat orașul nostru, complexul Weekend și bazinul care este baza noastră principală de antrenament, împreună și cu echipa Torpi MS. Deci încă o ocazie la acest bazin pentru colaborare.

Informațiile despre campionatul regional sunt pe pagina MVLSZ. Pe data de 10 noiembrie și echipa mai mare va juca, ei vor avea meci la etapa următoare a campionatului Diapolo.

Deci mult succes la toți și weekend plăcut!

Miközben kis szünet volt a Diapolo bajnokság meccs naptárában az idősebb csapatunk számára, a fedett medencél a hétvégék maximálisan ki voltak és vannak használva a következő fordulókra való felkészülésre.

Ugyanakkor a fiatalabb csapat november tizedikén elkezdi a magyar vidéki bajnokságot, maga a bajnokság harmadikán indul - úgyhogy számukra is folytonos a felkészülés.

E hétvégén a srácoknak alkalmuk volt együtt edzeni a CSM Brassó csapatával és barátságos mérkőzéseket is játszottak a városunkat, a Víkendtelepet és fő edzőbázisunkat képező medencénket meglátogató klubbal, és együtt a Torpi MS csapatával is. Ismét a medencében és a medence körül volt alkalom kollaborálásra.

A vidéki bajnokság információi az MVLSZ oldalán vannak. November tizedikén az idősebbek is játszanak majd, ők a Diapolo bajnokság következő fordulóján.

Recently a number of updates were made to blog content. We now have the photo albums created at the beginning of October online, including Nagy "Poco" Gabor's visit and that of Aquasport playing on dry land with lots of kung-fu moves :))

The press page has also had additions of recent articles.

The profiles page now has some of our new team members and also coach profiles with information added, and we hope that we gather all the photos and data soon to add everybody where info is missing.

The teams are preparing for the next round of Diapolo championship (Aquasport still in first place after 4 matches in group B) and the regional championship also starts in Hungary, so all the best with the training and a nice weekend to everyone!

Recent am făcut numeroase adăugiri de conținut la blog. Acum avem albumele foto create la începutul lunii octombrie, care includ și vizita lui Nagy ”Poco” Gabor și albumul care arată Aquasport jucând pe uscat cu multe mișcări kung-fu :))

Echipele se pregătesc pentru următoarea etapă a campionatului Diapolo (Aquasport tot pe locul întâi după patru meciuri în grupa B), și campionatul regional va începe în Ungaria - așa că toate cele bune cu antrenamentele și un weekend plăcut tuturor!

Nemrég új tartalommal bővült a blog. Az oktúber elején készült albumok is felkerültek, ezek között található Nagy "Pocó" Gábor látogatása és azon album is, ahol Aquasport szárazföldi játéka látható, sok kung-fu mozdulattal :))

A profilok (Profiles) oldalon új edzői és játékos profilok is vannak, friss információkka és reméljük hamarosan begyűl minden szükséges fotó és információ ahol utóbbi még hiányzik.

A csapatok a Diapolo bajnokság következő fordulójára készülnek (Aquasport továbbra is első helyen áll négy meccs után a B csoportban), és a magyar vidéki bajnokság is indul. Minden jót az edzésekhez és kellemes hétvégét mindenkinek!

This weekend arrived with another intense Saturday at Budapest, with two matches at the Diapolo championship - this was the second stage for the teams in Group B.

The first Aquasport match was with Bokay KSI at noon local time. The match ended with a categoric win by Aquasport, the score having been 26-5.

The second match at 2PM was with the mighty BVSC, one of the main suppliers of talent to Hungary's national team. Aquasport had the privilege of playing against them twice in the last Diapolo season, and both won and lost match was adrenaline-packed for players and supporters alike.

Aquasport was still leading in 2nd quarter 4-2, but then the match became brutal and 1 1/2 minutes before end of third quarter one of our players was literally attacked, this was followed by both being eliminated for good. Additionally, the time keeping has become scandalous - of course one could say there is always a blame game, but... the facts are, referee was suspended for 5 stages of the championship.

Despite all this storm, the boys put up a super fight and final score was 15-10 for BVSC. Let's hope next time one can focus more on the beautiful sport itself without major scandal...

It is perhaps impossible to write shortly about everybody, so apologies, but in no particular order: our goalie, Edmond Demeny defended a 5m penalty shot in the stormy BVSC match, Adi Campean, Popa Razvan and Radu Lazarescu all scored 6 goals each today, Dumbara Mihai scored 7 (all counts include the BVSC match, too).

Huge respect for the boys, who showed, not for the first time, superb mental focus and strength of all kinds during a difficult day with stormy developments.

As usual, big congrats to the team, which is returning home - and have a very restful second part of the weekend, lads!

Acest sfârșit de săptămână a sosit cu încă o sâmbătă foarte intensă la Budapesta, cu două meciuri la campionatul Diapolo - acesta fiind a doua etapă pentru echipele din grupa B.

Primul meci Aquasport a fost jucat împotriva echipei de la Bokay KSI la 12 ora locală. Meciul s-a încheiat cu scorul categoric de 26-5 pentru Aquasport.

Al doilea meci la două după-masă a fost cu puternicul BVSC, unul din principalii furnizori de talent pentru selecționata națională a Ungariei. Aquasport a avut privilegiul de a juca cu ei de două ori în sezonul trecut, și ambele meciuri, unul câștigat și unul pierdut, a fost saturat cu adrenalină pentru jucători și suporteri.

Aquasport conducea 4-2 la capătul sfertului doi, apoi meciul a devenit brutal și la 1 minut jumate de la capătul sfertului trei unul din jucătorii noștri a fost atacat literalmente, apoi amândoi eliminați definitiv. În plus, evidența timpului de joc a devenit scandaloasă - desigur, am putea spune că se dă vina pe altceva dar... fapul este că arbitrul a fost suspendat pentru cinci etape.

În pofida acestor furtuni, băieții au luptat superb și scorul final a fost 15-10 pentru BVSC. Să sperăm că data viitoare ne putem concentra mai mult pe acest sport frumos și fără scandal...

Este poate imposibil să scriem pe scurt despre toți, așa că cerem iertare, dar în ordine arbitrară: portarul nostru, Edmond Demeny  a apărat o aruncare de la 5 metri în meciul furtunos cu BVSC, Adi Câmpean, Popa Răzvan și Radu Lăzărescu au marcat 6 goluri fiecare azi, Mihai Dumbără 7 (cifrele includ meciul cu BVSC).

Enorm respect pentru băieții care, nu pentru prima oară, au demonstrat superbă concentrare mentală și forță de mai multe feluri în timpul unei zile dificile cu furtuni...

Ca de obicei, multe felicitări echipei care se întoarce acasă - să aveți o foarte odihnitoare doua parte a weekendului, băieți!

E hétvége ismét intenzív szombattal érkezett meg, két pesti meccsel a Diapolo bajnokságon - ez a B csoportbeli csapatok számára a második fordulót képezte.

Az első Aquasport meccs helyi idő szerint délben a Bókay KSI csapata ellen volt. Aquasport nyert egy határozott 26-5-es eredménnyel.

A második mérkőzés kettőkor a kemény BVSC ellen volt, akik a magyar válogatott egyik fő utánpótlás csapata. A tavalyi szezonban kétszer volt Aquasport-nak alkalma játszani ellenük, és a megnyert és elveszített meccs egyaránt adrenalinnal telített volt játékosok és szurkolók számára.

Aquasport a második negyed végén még 4-2-re vezetett, ezután a meccs brutálissá vált és a harmadik negyed vége előtt másfél perccel egyik játékosunkat szó szerint letámadták, majd mindkét félt véglegesen kiállították... De ráadásul az idő nyilvántartása ezután enyhén szólva skandallummá vált, természetesen azt lehetne mondani, hogy kifogás, de a tények maradnak - a bírót a bajnokság öt szakaszára felfüggesztették.

Mindezek ellenére a srácok keményen harcoltak és a végeredmény 15-10 volt BVSC javára. Reméljük, hogy legközelebb e szép sportra lehet majd koncentrálni kevesebb botránnyal...

Talán lehetetlen mindenkiről röviden írni, így elnézést, de minden speciel sorrend nélkül: kapusunk, Demény Edmond a BVSC meccsen egy ötméterest kivédett, Adi Câmpean, Popa Răzvan és Radu Lăzărescu egyenként hat gólt dobtak ma, Mihai Dumbără hetet (a BVSC meccset is beleszámítva).

Minden tiszteletünk a fiúk iránt, akik nem először mutatták meg, hogy egy nehéz viharos napon is szuper szellemi összpontosításra és többféle erőfeszítésre képesek.

Mint mindig, masszív gratulációk a csapatnak, amely hazatérőben van - és kívánunk nagyon pihentető második felét a hétvégének!

After the recent exciting events, we thought we add here a few fresh pictures about our... fresh forces, which joined our club.

On first picture above we see coach Csaba Gagyi with his very young new pupils of the 2003-2004 age group, and on the second, the girls team coached by Razvan Paltineanu.

We wish them lot of fun and successes in our club!

Apologies in advance for possible delays in setting up everybody's profile in every age group on the respective page of the blog, this will take some time with all the data gathering, but we promise to finalise them soon.

The 'older' staff of our club is preparing in full force for this weekend's double match at the Diapolo championship in Budapest, and the upcoming start of the regional championship in Hungary. So inevitably, we wish them lots of success for the coming days and weeks!

Soon we shall also publish here photo albums from recent days' training sessions and events.

După evenimentele excitante din zilele precedente, ne-am gândit să adăugăm și câteva poze proaspete despre... proaspetele forțe care ni s-au alăturat în clubul nostru.

Pe prima poză vedem pe antrenorul Csaba Gagyi cu foarte tinerii elevi din grupa de vârstă 2003-2004, și pe a doua imagine vedem echipa fetelor, antrenată de Răzvan Păltineanu.

Le urăm mult succes dar și distracție în clubul nostru!

Scuze pentru posibilele întârzieri în construirea profilelor personale pentru toți membri noi la fiecare grupă de vârstă, va dura un pic până asamblăm toate datele, dar promitem să le finalizăm curând pe pagina de profiluri.

Jucătorii mai ”vechi” se prepară în plină forță pentru dublul meci de la campionatul Diapolo de la Budapesta care se vor juca în acest weekend, și pentru startul campionatului regional din Ungaria. Deci inevitabil, le urăm mult succes pentru zilele și săptămânile viitoare!

Az elmúlt napok izgalmas eseményei után úgy gondoltuk, pár friss fotóval bemutatjuk a... friss erőket, akik klubunkhoz szegődtek.

Az első fotón Gagyi Csaba edzőt látjuk nagyon fiatal tanítványaival, a 2003-2004-es korcsoportból, míg a második fotón láthatjuk a Răzvan Păltineanu által edzett hölgyek csoportját.

Kívánunk nekik sok sikert de jó szórakozást is klubunkban!

Előre elnézést kérünk, hogy mindenki profiljának összeállításával minden korcsoportban picit késni fogunk, amíg mindenkiről begyűjtjük a kívánt információkat, de ígérjük hamarosan felszerkesztjük a profil oldalra.

A klub "régebbi" stábja teljes erőbedobással készül a hétvégi dupla meccsre a budapesti Diapolo bajnokságon, és a nemsokára induló vidéki bajnokságra is. Így természetesen sok sikert kívánunk az elkövetkező napok és hetek meccseihez!

Gabor "Poco" Nagy, a local water polo legend with a superb career on two sides of the Atlantic, who is based in L.A. and followed & supported the lads during the past year, has visited the lads last night. His impressive life story can be read on our History page, which was greatly helped by the materials provided by Mr. Nagy himself and Mr. John Bordy.

It was a tremendous pleasure and privilege to meet him in person, and it was a fantastic evening of training session combined with chats and plenty of anecdotes.

We say a huge thanks for making time in a very very busy schedule to visit the pool and the boys, and we hope to meet again, all the best and a safe journey home!

Gabor "Poco" Nagy, legenda de polo pe apă cu cariera superbă pe ambele laturi ale Oceanului Atlantic, originar din Târgu Mureș dar bazat în Los Angeles, a vizitat băieții seara trecută, după ce le-a urmărit și suportat de aproape de un an.  Cariera impresionantă a dânsului se poate citi pe pagina de istorie (History) a blogului nostru, care din urmă a fost ajutată mult de materialele trimise de dânsul și de Dl. John Bordy.

A fost o imensă plăcere și privilegiu că l-am întâlnit în persoană, și a fost o seară superbă de anecdote, conversații și antrenamente.

Multe multe mulțumiri pentru că dânsul a făcut loc în programul său foarte dens pentru vizita făcută bazinului și băieților, sperăm să ne mai intâlnim și vă urăm toate cele bune și o călătorie plăcută!

Nagy "Pocó" Gábor, a vásárhelyi származású Los Angeles-ben élő póló legenda, az Atlanti óceán mindkét oldalán befutott csodás karrierrel, tegnap este meglátogatta a srácokat, miután egy éve követte és támogatta a fiúkat. Életéről a kis blogunk történelmi (History) oldalán lehet olvasni, ez utóbbi többek között maga Nagy Gábor úr és Bordy János úr által küldött anyagokból épült ki.

Hatalmas öröm és megtiszteltetés volt személyesen találkozni vele, és egy csodás társalgással, anekdotákkal és edzéssel kombinált este volt.

Nagyon köszönjük, hogy zsúfolt programjában időt szakított erre a látogatásra is, reméljük még találkozunk és kívánunk minden jót, kellemes utazást!

Eduard Orășteanu

Edward Adam, Lăzărescu Radu, Dumbără Mihai, Popa Răzvan

Our team has recently had the pleasure of welcoming the experienced and successful coach Eduard Orasteanu, formerly from the renowned club Triumf Bucharest, and four valuable players from the same club: Edward Adam, Lazarescu Radu, Dumbara Mihai and Popa Razvan.

They joined our Junior II team and already participated with Aquasport at important away matches, for example most recently at the Budapest Diapolo championship.

We caught a few moments in digital form :) today, at a training match - so, alongside the photos above,  we also say a huge and warm welcome on this blog, too! and we hope they will find Targu Mures a pleasant second home, lots of success with the team and many new friendships!

Echipa noastră a avut recent plăcerea de a ura bun venit d-lui antrenor cu mare experiență și cu palmares excelent, Eduard Orășteanu, care a fost la clubul renumit Triumf București, și totodată patru jucători valoroși de la același club:  Edward Adam, Lăzărescu Radu, Dumbără Mihai și Popa Răzvan.

Ei fac acum parte din echipa noastră Junior II, și au jucat deja la câteva meciuri importante, cel mai recent la campionatul Diapolo de la Budapesta.

Am capturat digital câteva momente cu ei azi, la un meci de antrenament, și le urăm din suflet Bun venit! și pe acest blog. Sperăm că Târgu Mureș va fi un al doilea cămin plăcut, le dorim mult succes cu echipa noastră și multe prietenii noi!

Csapatunk nemrég örömmel fogadta soraiba a nagy tapasztalatú és sikeres edzőt, Eduard Orășteanu urat, aki a híres Triumf Bukarest klubnál volt edző, ugyanakkor négy játékost is ugyanazon klubtól (Edward Adam, Lăzărescu Radu, Dumbără Mihai és Popa Răzvan).

Az Ifi II-es csapatunkban már több fontos meccsen játszottak, legutóbb például a budapesti Diapolo bajnokságon.

Elkaptunk digitálisan pár pillanatot velük egy mai edzőmeccsen, és a fenti fotók mellett e blogon is meleg fogadtatásban szeretnénk részesíteni őket. Reméljük kellemes második otthonuk lesz Marosvásárhely. Sok sikert és sok új barátságot kívánunk nekik!
