Last weekend was an active one, with the Mures Cup and the charity fundraising Swimathon having taken place.

However, a nice highlight was also the award gala that recognised our city's sporting talent. Among the invited athletes who received the award were also Aquasport's David Magyari and Norbert Baki.

A well-deserved congratulations for the well-deserved award, lads! and lots of success for the future!

Weekendul trecut a fost unul activ, Cupa Mureș și Swimathon-ul caritabil desfășurându-se la bazin.

Dar totodată un alt eveniment frumos a fost și gala de premiere pentru talentele sportului mureșean. Printre sportivii invitați și premiați au fost David Magyari și Norbert Baki de la Aquasport.

Felicitări binemeritate pentru distincțiile tot așa de binemeritate, băieți! și mult succes în continuare!

A hétvége rendkívül aktív volt, a Maros Kupa és a jótékonysági Swimathon is lezajlott a medencében.

De egy másik szép fénypont volt a város sport tehetségeit díjazó gála is, amelyen a meghívott és díjazott sportolók között volt az Aquasport-tól Baki Norbert és Magyari Dávid is.

Nagyon megérdemelt gratula srácok a nagyon megérdemelt kitüntetésekért! és sok sok sikert a továbbiakban is!

Junior III team qualified to the finals ● Juniorii III calificați la turneul final ● Ifi III-as csapat döntőbe jut

The second junior III qualifier to the national championship took place in our hometown just before last weekend.

With some delay due to this blog's little gremlin having been travelling, the great news is that the lads won against the teams from Cluj and Brasov, counting the matches in the official competition - and this means that, based on the overall results the team is placed 3rd in the North Zone and qualifies to the finals!

So of course huge congrats to the team, thanks for the photos, too - and we wish them an extremely well deserved, and hopefully very relaxing :), school holiday!

Returul de calificare la campionatul național Juniori III a avut loc în orașul nostru înainte de weekendul trecut.

Cu un pic de întârziere din cauză că spiridușul blogului călătorea, veștile bune sunt că băieții au învins echipele de la Cluj și Brașov, numărând meciurile din competiția oficială, și aceasta înseamnă că fiind pe locul trei în zona Nord, echipa se califică la turneul final!

Natural, enorme felicitări echipei și mulțumiri și pentru poze - și dorim băieților o vacanță foarte binemeritat de relaxantă! :)

Az Ifi III-as országos bajnokság második selejtezője a hétvége előtt városunkban zajlott le.

A blog manójának utazása miatt kicsit megkésett jóhírek: a srácok győztek Brassó és Kolozsvár ellen, így az Északi Zónában harmadik helyen állnak - és ezzel bejutottak az országos bajnokság döntő turnéjára!

Természetesen hatalmas gratula a csapatnak, és köszi a fotókat is - ugyanakkor kívánunk a srácoknak egy nagyon megérdemelten laza vakációt is! :)

(C) Aquasport

The 2nd qualification round for the Junior II. national championship took place in our hometown on Saturday, the Aqua/Minimax combined team's mostly younger players used it as a good training round before their second Junior III. qualification round.

The team played outside the competition, and the other three North Zone teams automatically qualify, so there will be more excitement for Transylvanian teams at the finals.

The junior team from Chisinau, Republic of Moldova also arrived in our hometown for a series of friendly matches, so further training matches for the boys before next weekend's Junior III tournament. Lots of good matches and success with the preparations!

 Returul de calificare pentru turneul final al campionatului național Juniori II a avut loc sâmbătă în orașul nostru, jucătorii mai tineri din echipa combinată Aqua/Minimax au folosit aceste meciuri ca pregatire pentru returul lor de calificare la Juniori III.

Echipa a jucat în afara competiției, și celelalte trei echipe din Zona Nord se califică automat, așa că emoțiile continuă pentru echipele din Transilvania la turneul final.

Totodată, echipa de juniori din Chișinău a sosit la Mureș pentru o serie de meciuri amicale, așa că urmează și mai multe meciuri de antrenament înainte de returul Juniori III din weekendul următor. Multe meciuri faine și pregătire bună băieți!

Az Ifi II-es országos bajnokság második selejtezője városunkban játszódott le szombaton, és a kombinált Aqua-Minimax csapat fiatalabb játékosai ezt jó edzésnek használták fel az ők Ifi III-as selejtezőjük előtt.

A csapat versenyen kívül játszott, és a többi három északi zónás csapat automatikusan döntőbe jut, így további izgalmak várnak az erdélyi csapatok számára.

A Kisinyói ifi csapat is megérkezett városunkba egy barátságos meccs sorozatra, így a srácok további edzőmérkőzéseket játszhatnak a jövő hétvégi második Ifi III-as selejtezőjük előtt. Sok jó meccset és jó felkészülést fiúk!

Marathon Saturday ● Sâmbătă de maraton ● Maratoni szombat

The by now traditional Aquamarathon swimming marathon took place today at the olympic pool, this time organised as 8 hours of swimming, with teams of 8 + 1 reserve swimmers who had to do 400m relay throughout the competition in a continuous loop.

The teams were split into three groups: 1. swimmers, 2. athletes in other sports (water polo, triathlon), and 3. amateurs.

The Aqua-Minimax team achieved first place in team No. 2 with 32 400m total swimming distance (separating themselves with 800m compared to 2nd place in the group), and a similarly superb second place overall!

Apart from well-deserved huge congratulations, and the thanks to all the supporters who made this swimming event again one with a very special atmosphere, we also wish the team a similarly well-deserved thorough rest - and a rather victorious return to school on Monday :)

Maratonul deja tradițional de înot, Aquamarathon, a avut loc azi la bazinul olimpic. De data aceasta a fost organizat in formă de 8 ore de înot, cu echipe de 8 concurenți + 1 rezervă, și fiecare înotând în esență ștafetă de 400m în buclă continuă.

Echipele au fost separate în trei grupe: 1. înotători, 2. sportivi în alte sporturi (polo pe apă, triatlon), și 3. amatori. 

Echipa Aqua-Minimax s-a clasat pe locul întăi în grupa 2 de sportivi cu 32400 metri în total (cu diferență de 800 de metri față de locul doi în grupă), și s-au clasat pe locul doi în tabela combinată de trei grupe. 

Pe lângă enorme felicitări ce se cuvin echipei, și mulțumiri suporterilor care iar au tranformat acest eveniment de înot în unul cu atmosferă specială, urăm echipei și odihnă extrem de bine meritată - plus luni o reîntoarcere destul de victorioasă la școală :)

A már hagyományossá vált Aquamarathon  úszó maraton ma zajlott le az olimpiai medencében. Ezúttal 8 óra úszás volt napirenden, 8 plusz 1 tartalék úszóból álló csapatokkal, és 400 méter stafétát úszott mindenki a versenyidő alatt.

A csapatokat három csoportba osztották fel: 1. úszók, 2. más sportolók (vízilabda, triatlon), 3. amatőrök.

Az Aqua-Minimax csapat 32400 méterrel első helyet ért el a 2-es csoportban (800 méterrel a második csapat előtt), és összesített második helyet.

A csapatnak kijáró masszív gratula mellett köszönet a szurkolóknak is akik ismét különleges hangulatúvá tették ezt az úszó rendezvényt, és kívánunk a csapatnak nagyon megérdemelt pihenést - és diadalmas hétfői visszatérést a suliba :)

After having played recently outside the competition in an older age category at the national championship qualifiers at Oradea, this weekend the Junior III lads from Aquasport and Minimax have returned to that city - but this time it was "for real"...

The first round of qualifiers in their own age group presented the young team six opponents: AMEFA Arad, CSM Brasov, Crisul Oradea, CSM Oradea, Viitorul Cluj, and Torpi Tg.-Mures.

After countless exciting twist and turns (and heart palpitations for the supporters), the balance of the three days of matches is a superb four victories against Arad, Brasov, CSM Oradea and Torpi - hence a third place in the North Zone's group of seven teams!

Huge congrats for the results that place the team in a comfortable position for qualifying to the finals!... and we wish the team an extremely well-deserved rest, even if school awaits on Monday :)

După ce au jucat recent în afara competiției la Oradea, la turul de calificare al juniorilor cu o categorie de vârstă mai mare, băieții din echipa Aquasport/Minimax de juniori III s-au întors la Oradea - dar de data aceasta a fost întrecere ”pe viu”...

Turul de calificare în grupa lor de vârstă a adus echipei șase adversari; AMEFA Arad, CSM Brasov, Crișul Oradea, CSM Oradea, Viitorul Cluj, și Torpi Tg.-Mureș.

După nenumărate întorsături excitante (și palpitații cardiace :) pentru suporterii lor), bilanțul celor trei zile de meciuri este un superb total de patru victorii împotriva echipelor de la Arad, Brașov, CSM Oradea și Torpi - deci locul trei în grupa de șapte echipe din Zona de Nord!

Enorme felicitări pentru rezultatele care plasează echipa într-o poziție confortabilă pentru calificare la turneul final! - și odihnă extrem de bine meritată echipei, cu toate că luni urmează iar școala :)

Miután az Aquasport-Minimax csapat nemrég versenyen kívül Nagyváradon játszott az egy korcsoporttal idősebbek selejtező turnéján, az Ifi III-as srácok ismét ott voltak kiszálláson - de ezúttal élesben ment a verseny...

Korcsoportjuk selejtező turnéjának első fordulója hat ellenfelet hozott: az AMEFA Arad, CSM Brassó, Crișul Nagyvárad, CSM Nagyvárad, Viitorul Kolozsvár és a Torpi Marosvásárhely csapatait.

Számtalan izgalmas fordulat és a szurkolóik számára sok szívbaj :) után, a három nap meccseinek mérlege egészen szuper: négy győzelem Arad, Brassó, CSM Nagyvárad és Torpi csapatai ellen - tehát harmadik hely a hét csapatból álló északi zóna csoportjában!

Hatalmas gratula az eredményekért, amelyek a srácokat kényelmes pozícióba hozza a döntő turnéra való bejutáshoz! - és egy rendkívül megérdemelt pihenést a csapatnak, még akkor is, ha jön biza hétfőn a suli :)
