The previous weekend's little story, as presented on the Sunday blog entry, has been accepted also by the Youth1.com media channel. It also made the so-to-speak front page as it can be seen above, under the 'Other sports' heading.

Mica relatare despre evenimentele weekendului trecut, publicat prima dată aici duminica trecută, a fost acceptată şi de către canalul media Youth1.com, dedicat în întregime sportului de tineret. Articolul, după cum se vede şi în imaginea de sus, a ajuns şi pe pagina principală a secţiunii "Alte sporturi".

Acesta este al treilea articol (întitulat "Aquasport polo pe apă - un weekend memorabil") despre Aquasport acceptat şi publicat de către ei, deci sincere mulţumiri la adresa lor pentru că urmăresc cu interes viaţa clubului pe paginile lor de ştiri. It was one of those weekends that mere statistics can only describe tiny parts of... This little blog post can hardly claim to achieve much more, but we would still like to try and give a little insight into the last few days' events.

If we stick to numbers, then one can say that the Aquasport had three away matches in two days and in two different countries, two age groups' teams playing in two different championships - and won two matches.

As always, reality is richer than numbers :-)

As we mentioned in the previous blog post, the lads departed from home on Friday after school, traveled via Oradea to Hungary, where on Saturday at Szaszhalombatta the first match was to take place in the Diapolo Championship with the respectable Bokay-KSI (a club that won, for example, the Danube Cup last year).

Aquasport's older players (born in 1995 or later) won this match with the score of 11-6, so the first round of congratulations were due.

After the match they set out on another journey, coming back to the Transylvanian city of Oradea, where on Sunday the next two matches were to be played by the younger team in the Transylvania Cup. Hence from victors, the older players have transformed themselves into passionate supporters for their younger mates.

The two matches were with the two excellent teams, Crisul and Dinamo Oradea, who we can also thank for the thrills of an amazing weekend.

The first match was won by Crisul Oradea with the final score of 6-4 after a superbly tense game, for example Aquasport was leading in the 3rd quarter 4-2.

Shortly after this first encounter, the second match with Dinamo Oradea proved to be also very tense and tight, Aquasport winning this match with the final score of 9-8.

Therefore a sincere second round of congratulations go out to the entire club, with many thanks for keeping spectators and supporters (both those present on location and those at some distance) on the edge of their real or metaphorical seat for the entire weekend :-)

Wishing everybody a very safe journey home, a well deserved rest and repeated thanks to them and their opponents for a fantastically exciting weekend.

A fost un sfârşit de săptămână care poate fi descris numai foarte parţial de către statistici... Acest mic articol nu poate pretinde că va fi capabil de mult mai mult, dar am dori totuşi să descriem un pic evenimentele acestor câteva zile.

Dacă rămânem la numere, atunci putem spune că Aquasport a avut trei meciuri în deplasare pe parcursul a două zile în două ţări diferite, cu echipele ambelor grupe de vârstă jucând în cadrul a două campionate diferite - şi au câştigat două meciuri.

Dar ca întotdeauna, realitatea este mai bogată decât ceea ce numerele pot să descrie :-)

Cum am menţionat în articolul trecut, băieţii au plecat vineri după şcoală via Oradea spre Ungaria, unde primul meci avea să aibă loc sâmbătă în cadrul campionatului Diapolo la Szaszhalombatta cu respectabila echipă a clubului Bokay-KSI (care de exemplu a câştigat Cupa Dunărea anul trecut).

Jucătorii mai în vârstă (născuţi în 1995 sau după) au câştigat meciul cu scorul de 11-6, deci prima rundă de felicitări era la ordinea zilei

După meci au venit înapoi la Oradea, unde duminică echipa mai tânără urma să joace două meciuri în cadrul Cupei Transilvania. Aşa că jucătorii mai în vârstă s-au transformat din poloişti victorioşi în suporteri pasionaţi ai celor mai tineri.

Cele două meciuri s-au jucat cu două echipe superbe, Crişul şi Dinamo Oradea, şi li se cuvin mulţumiri pentru weekendul excitant.

Primul meci a fost câştigat de Crişul Oradea cu scorul de 6-4 după un joc superb de tens (de exemplu, în  sfertul al treilea Aquasport conducea cu 4-2).

Scurt după primul meci, a doua întâlnire, de data aceasta cu Dinamo Oradea, a fost la fel de tensionată, Aquasport câştigând meciul cu scorul final de 9-8.

Deci a doua rundă de sincere felicitări se cuvine la adresa clubului, cu multe mulţumiri pentru că au reuşit să ţină spectatorii şi suporterii (cei prezenţi şi cei la distanţă) tensionaţi pe marginea scaunelor, la mod propriu sau figurat... pe durata întregului weekend  :-)...

Urăm tuturor călătorie plăcută spre casă, o odihnă plăcută şi bine meritată - şi incă o dată mulţumiri la adresa lor şi a adversarilor pentru un weekend fantastic de excitant.

Azon hétvégék egyike volt, amelyet csupán statisztikák képtelenek leírni... Ezen kis blog cikk nem állítja magáról, hogy sokkal többre képes, de mégis kis betekintést szeretne nyújtani az elmúlt pár nap eseményeibe.

Ha a számoknál maradunk, akkor elmondhatjuk, hogy az Aquasport klubnak három idegenben játszott meccse volt két országban két nap alatt, mindkét korcsoport csapata játszott két különböző bajnokság keretében és két meccset megnyert.

De mint mindig, a valóság a számoknál sokkal színesebb...

Mint említettük az előző blog cikkben, a srácok pénteken indultak el Nagyváradon keresztül Magyarország fele, ahol az első meccs következett szombaton a Diapolo bajnokság keretében Szászhalombattán a tiszteletreméltó Bókay-KSI csapatával (a klub például a tavalyi Duna Kupa győztese volt).

Az idősebb korcsoport játékosai (akik 1995-ben vagy később születtek) a meccset 11-6-re nyerték, így az első kiadós adag gratuláció kerülhetett sorra.

A meccs után ismét útra keltek, ezúttal vissza Nagyváradra, ahol a fiatalabb csapatra vasárnap két meccs várt a Transzilvánia Kupa keretében. Így az idősebb játékosok győztesekből átalakították magukat  szenvedélyes drukkerekké.

A két meccset a kitűnő nagyváradi Crişul és Dinamo csapatok ellen játszották, nekik is köszönet jár egy fantasztikusan izgalmas hétvégéért.

Az első meccset a Crişul nyerte 6-4-re egy szuper feszes játék során (például az Aquasport a harmadik negyedben vezetett 4-2-re).

Röviddel ezen meccs után következett a Dinamo-val a játszma, amely hasonlóan izgalmas volt, Aquasport ezt 9-8-ra nyerte.

Így második adag gratuláció is jár a klubnak, ugyanakkor sok köszönet azért is, hogy ezen hétvége folyamán a nézőket és ott vagy távolban drukkoló szurkolókat szó szerint (vagy képletesen szólva) a székeik szélén tartották az izgalomtól...

Kívánunk mindenkinek jó utat hazafele, kellemes és nagyon megérdemelt pihenést - és ismételten köszönjük  nekik és ellenfeleiknek ezen izgalmas hétvége élményeit.

The weekend is promising to be a particularly busy one for the club as both age group’s teams are having away games at different locations and at different championships, which also bring a more complex travel plan.

The older players are playing at the Diapolo Championship, meeting Bokay-KSI on Saturday in Hungary at Szaszhalombatta, hence they departed from home already on Friday after school.

The younger team has two matches on Sunday, in the town of Oradea, where they play in the newly established Transylvania Water Polo Cup, which had its debut on 20 November.

Hence everybody should be back home by Sunday night, and with the multiple travels and championships under way this weekend, we are of course wishing everybody young and old(er) :-) a very successful weekend and smooth trips.

Weekendul care urmează promite a fi unul excepțional de activ pentru club, fiindcă echipele ambelor grupe de vârstă vor participa la meciuri în deplasare la două campionate diferite în două orașe, acest fapt înseamnă și un plan de călătorii mai complicat.

Jucătorii mai în vârstă vor juca la campionatul Diapolo, întâlnind echipa Bokay-KSI în ziua de sâmbătă în Ungaria la Szaszhalombatta, deci pornirea la drum a fost vineri după școală.

Echipa mai tânără are doua meciuri duminică la Oradea, under vor juca in noul campionat de polo pe apă Cupa Transilvania, care a început pe 20 Noiembrie.

Deci până duminică seară, toți vor ajunge acasă, și cu multiplele călătorii și campionate în weekendul acesta, desigur urăm tuturor celor tineri și (mai) în vârstă :-) mult succes și călătorii plăcute.

A hétvége különösen telítettnek ígérkezik a klub számára, mivel mindkét korcsoport csapata idegenben játszik két különböző bajnokságban és két különböző helyszínen – ez a szokásosnál komplikáltabb útiterveket is jelent.

Az idősebb csapat a Diapolo bajnokságon játszanak szombaton a Bokay-KSI csapata ellen Szászhalombattán, így már pénteken volt az indulás suli után.

A fiatalabb korcsoport csapata két meccset játszik vasárnap Nagyváradon az újonnan létrehozott vízilabda Transzilvánia Kupa keretében, amely November 20-ikán indult.

Vasárnap estére mindenki hazaérne, így többszörös bajnokságokkal és utazásokkal a hétvége programjában, kívánunk minden fiatalnak és idős(ebb)nek :-) nagyon sikeres hétvégét és kellemes utazást.

A quick little note that we have received with thanks some new photos taken at the Diapolo Championship and at the first weekend of the regional championship in Hungary.

Numai o mică notă rapidă despre faptul că am primit poze noi despre campionatul Diapolo și despre primul weekend de la campionatele regionale din Ungaria.

Amândouă albume noi se pot vedea pe pagina de poze (Photos) ale blogului nostru și sperăm că acestea se vor extinde pe parcursul timpului. Încă o dată mulțumiri la toți care au contribuit cu fotografii.

Ez mindössze egy gyors és apró bejegyzés arról, hogy köszönettel kaptunk új fotókat a magyarországi Diapolo bajnokságról és a területi bajnokság első hétvégéjéről.

First day at the regional championship ● Prima zi la campionatul regional ● Első nap a területi bajnokságon

The regional championship for the younger Aquasport team has begun today, at Bekescsaba in Hungary, with two consecutive matches. The players departed from home Friday afternoon.

First match was with AQUA Sportegyesület (Nyíregyháza, Hungary), which turned out to be very tight one just to keep adrenaline levels and heartrate high even for the spectators, ending with the score 14-11 for AQUA (3-2, 6-5, 4-3, 1-1). The second match against Sugovica Vízilabda Sportegyesület followed in less than two hours, so the lads recharged their batteries in their usual enviable fashion and got into the pool once again. Aquasport finished the day on a victorious note, clearly dominating the match with a final score of 22-8 in their favour (7-0, 6-5, 5-1, 4-2). So huge congratulations to the lads and their coach, Csaba Gagyi - and as they are returning home while this blog entry is being written, we are wishing them a very safe and pleasant journey home.

Campionatul regional la Bekescsaba, Ungaria a început azi cu două meciuri programate pentru echipa mai tânără al clubului Aquasport. Jucătorii au plecat la competiţie vineri.

Primul meci a fost cu AQUA Sportegyesület Nyíregyháza, şi s-a dovedit a fi unul foarte tensionat, care a ridicat chiar şi la spectatori nivelul de adrenalină şi pulsul, terminându-se cu scorul de 14-11 în favoarea echipei AQUA Nyíregyháza (3-2, 6-5, 4-3, 1-1). Statisticile detaliate ale meciului se pot găsi pe paginile Federaţiei Ungare de Polo pe Apă, link-ul direct fiind acesta. 

Al doilea meci a fost împotriva echipei Sugovica Vízilabda Sportegyesület, aceasta având loc la mai puţin de două ore după primul meci, așa că băieții și-au reîncărcat bateriile în modul lor demn de invidiat și au intrat încă o dată în bazin. Aquasport a încheiat ziua pe o notă victorioasă, dominând meciul pe care l-au câștigat cu un scor final de 22-8 (7-0, 6-5, 5-1, 4-2). Deci multe felicitări ca de obicei pentru băieţi şi antrenorul Csaba Gagyi - şi fiindcă ei sunt pe drum spre casă în timp ce aceste rânduri sunt scrise pe blog, îi urăm şi o călătorie plăcută.

A területi bajnokság ma két meccsel kezdődött Békéscsabán az Aquasport fiatalabb csapata számára. A játékosok pénteken indultak el otthonról.

Az első meccs az AQUA Sportegyesület Nyíregyháza csapatával volt - ez nagyon szorosra sikerült, így még a nézőknél is biztosított magas adrenalin szintet és gyors pulzust. Az eredmény végül 14-11 lett az AQUA javára (3-2, 6-5, 4-3, 1-1). A meccs részletes statisztikái a Magyar Vízilabda Szövetség (MVLSZ) honlapján találhatóak, közvetlen linket is ezúttal megadunk.

A második meccs kevesebb mint két órával később következett a Sugovica Vízilabda Sportegyesület csapatával, így a srácok úgymond újratöltötték energiaforrásaikat a szokásos irigylésre méltó módon és ismét vízbe szálltak. Az Aquasport győzelemmel zárta a napot, dominálva a meccset, így az eredmény 22-8 volt javukra (7-0, 6-5, 5-1, 4-2).
