Swimathon!

Today many of the lads from our former and current teams took part in a charity Swimathon, where 60 minutes of swimming was raising funds for numerous projects.

So it was a super active Saturday for good causes, swimmer and water polo players contributing to the successes of several teams. On the list of teams who finished in Top 3 places (109, 89 and 88 pool lengths!), but also in others, we can see lots of familiar names - congrats!

Mulți dintre foștii și prezenți jucători de-ai noștri au luat parte azi la swimathon-ul caritabil unde 60 de minute de înot prin care se strângeau fonduri pentru diferite proiecte și cauze.

Deci a fost o sâmbătă superbă, înotători și poloiști contribuind la succesele multor echipe înscrise. Pe lista echipelor clasate pe primele trei locuri (cu 109, 89 si 88 de bazine!), dar nu numai, putem vedea multe nume cunoscute - felicitări!

Sokan a volt és jelen polósaink közül ma résztvettek a jótékonysági Swimathon-on, ahol 60 perces úszással több projektre gyűjtöttek támogatást.

Szuper szombat volt tehát, úszók és polósok hozzájárultak több beiratkozott csapat sikeréhez. Az első három helyen végzett (109, 89 és 88 medence hosszal!), és a többi csapat listáján is láthatunk sok ismerős nevet... gratulálunk fiúk!

One could not have asked for a better 6-day-long break from school, with nonstop summer heat reaching often 30 degrees...

The Olympic pool was closed during the festive holidays, so the teams played football and had great fun paintballing. Alas, all good things come to an end :), and the lads return to school and to the usual heavy training routine.

On May 17, the '98-'99 age group teams will have the next stage of the regional championship, with two very tough cookies, Oradea and Arad. Then at the end of June the 2000-'01 age group team has the first qualification round for the national championships.

So... everyone returns to "work", and school might finish in a few weeks' time, but preparations for exciting water polo matches continue. All the best boys and a happy return to the "routine" :)!

O minivacanță de 6 zile nici nu se putea fi mai bună, cu vară nonstop și temperaturi care des atingeau 30 de grade...

Bazinul olimpic a fost închis în timpul vacanței festive, așa că echipele jucau fotbal și s-au distrat în mod activ cu paintballing. Dar, tot ce e bun trebuie să ia sfârșit :), băieții se întorc la școală și la rutine lor obișnuită de antrenamente grele.

Pe 17 mai, cei din 98-99 for avea următoarea etapă a campionatului regional, cu două echipe tari, Arad și Oradea. La sfârșitul lunii iunie, cei din 2000-2001 vor avea prima rundă de calificare pentru campionatul național.

Deci toți se întorc la ”lucru” și chiar dacă școala se termină în câteva săptămâni, pregătirile pentru meciuri excitante continuă. Toate cele bune băieților și reîntoarcere veselă la ”rutină” :) !

A hat napos minivakáció nem is lehetett volna klasszabb, nonstop nyárral és 30 fokos meleggel...

A medencét bezárták az ünnepek alatt, így a csapatok fociztak és paintball kommandónak képezték át magukat... De minden jó véget ér :), a srácok visszatérnek suliba és a szokásos kemény edzésekhez is.

Május 17-ikén a 98-99-es csapat a vidéki bajnokság következő fordulóján vesz részt, két kemény dióval játszanak, Araddal és Nagyváraddal. Június végén pedig a 2000-2001-es csapat megy az országos bajnokság első selejtezőjére.

Tehát mindenki visszatér "melózni" és noha a sulinak vége néhány hét múlva, a felkészülés izgalmas poló meccsekre folytatódik majd. Minden jót srácok és vidám visszatérést a "rutinba" :) !

After a long winter we seemingly skipped spring and with temperatures of around 30 degrees last week, we jumped straight to summer.

Well, regardless of the games the weather plays, the Weekend Complex is opening for the summer season. The Olympic Pool it seems will keep, as it did last year, its pressurised tent, so training sessions will happen in stable conditions.

Let's hope sunshine stays :) and we wish everyone a superb season around the pools!

După o iarnă lungă, se pare că am sărit peste primăvară, și cu temperaturi care atingeau 30 de grade săptămâna trecută, am sărit direct la vară.

Indiferent de jocurile vremii, Complexul Weekend se deschide pentru sezonul estival. Bazinul Olimpic se pare că va păstra, cum a fost și anul trecut, balonul presurizat, așa că antrenamentele se vor putea ține în condiții stabile.

Să sperăm că soarele rămâne :), și dorim tuturor un sezon superb în jurul bazinelor!

Egy hosszú tél után úgy tűnik átugrottuk a tavaszt, és a múlt heti 30 fok körüli hőmérsékletekkel egyenesen nyárba léptünk át.

Hát függetlenül az időjárás játékaitól, a Víkendtelep megnyílik a nyári szezonra. Az olimpiai medence felett úgy tűnik ismét meg fog maradni a sátor, így stabil környezetben lehet edzeni majd.

Reméljük marad a napsütés :), és kívánunk mindenkinek szuper nyári szezont a medencék körül!

Third day ● Ziua a treia ● Harmadik nap

The last day at Oradea had one match left in the calendar for us, and it was between two teams from Tirgu Mures, Torpi and ours.

Final score was 10-6 for Aquasport, a match with exciting twists, so congratulations! -  after lunch the lads return home, so have a safe and pleasant journey, and for the rest of the weekend, a very good rest after three days of water polo!

Azi la Oradea ultima zi din turneu a avut un meci în calendar pentru noi, două echipe mureșene s-au întâlnit, Torpi și Aqua.

Scorul final a fost 10-6  pentru Aquasport, un meci cu multe întorsături așa că felicitări! - după masă băieții se întorc acasă, așa că dorim o călătorie plăcută și pentru restul weekendului, odihnă bună după trei zile de polo!

Ma Nagyváradon a turné utolsó napján egy meccsünk maradt, két marosvásárhelyi csapat találkozott, a Torpi és Aqua.

A végeredmény 10-6 lett Aquasport javára egy fordulatos meccs után, gratulálunk! - ebéd után a srácok térnek haza, így jó utat hazafele és három nap polózás után alapos pihenést a hétvége hátralevő részére!
