After the multiple gold and silver medals and winning the Romanian Cup in senior women's water polo, it is the turn of the first medal in the much more difficult men's group, where Fülöp Tamas Szoly with the Aqua Sport team creates a sensation again by winning the bronze medal after 40 years since the last climb on the podium of the boys from Mures in 1983 !!!
After many personal sacrifices and over 6 years of work, with the magnificent contribution of coach Tóth Ferenc, the U13 male age group of the Aqua Sport Târgu Mureș team deservedly wins the bronze medal from a group of 16 teams entered in the National Polo Championship edition 2022-2023.
Out of 24 matches played, with only 2 lost games against the strong Crișul Oradea team and one against Dinamo Bucharest, Aqua Sport manages the remarkable performance of bringing a bronze medal to Târgu Mureș, ranking in front of many much more titled and much better teams financed as Steaua, Rapid, Corona Bv., Arad, Alba Iulia, Cluj!
The success is even more remarkable considering the fact that the team is made up exclusively of players from Târgu Mureș and the victories were achieved with a very small group composed of only 7 starters and only three reserves!
Since 2009, i,e. the start of the revival of Mures water polo after the revolution, several men's teams fought very hard for a position on the podium, but never succeeded. A lot of money was invested, external players and coaches were brought in, but getting on the podium was always a place or two away.
Aqua Sport Târgu Mureș as a private polo team achieves the extraordinary performance with little funding and with local athletes and coaches, this makes the medal even more valuable and shinier!
The athletes' parents, through consistency, trust in the coaches, plus the financial contribution to the team, prove that good management and with a united and dedicated group can produce results even in the difficult male competition dominated by rich and nationally renowned clubs!

După multiplele medalii de aur și argint și după câștigarea Cupei României la polo feminin senioare vine rândul primei medalii în mult mai dificilă grupă MASCULINĂ unde Fülöp Tamas Szoly cu echipa Aqua Sport produce din nou senzație câștigând medalia de bronz după 40 de ani de la ultima urcare pe podium a băieților mureșeni în 1983 !!!
După multe sacrificii personale și o muncă de peste 6 ani, cu aportul magnific al antrenorului Tóth Ferenc, grupa de vârstă U13 masculin a echipei Aqua Sport Târgu Mureș câștigă meritat medalia de bronz dintr-o grupă de 16 echipe înscrise în Campionatul Național de Polo ediția 2022-2023.
Din 24 de meciuri jucate, cu doar 2 partide pierdute împotriva puternicei echipe Crișul Oradea și una împotriva Dinamo București, Aqua Sport reușește performanța remarcabilă să aducă în Târgu Mureș o medalie de bronz clasându-se în fața multor echipe mult mai titrate și mult mai bine finanțate ca Steaua, Rapid, Corona Bv., Arad, Alba Iulia, Cluj!
Reușita este și mai remarcabilă considerând faptul că echipa este formată exclusiv din jucători din Târgu Mureș iar victoriile au fost obținute cu un lot foarte restrâns compus doar din 7 titulari și doar trei rezerve!
Din anul 2009, momentul renașterii pololui mureșean de după revoluție, mai multe echipe masculine au luptat foarte greu pentru o poziționare pe podium dar niciodată nu au reușit. S-au investit bani mulți, au fost aduși jucători și antrenori externi dar urcarea pe podium a fost întotdeauna la o clasare sau două de podium.
Echipa privată de polo Aqua Sport Târgu Mureș reușește performanța extraordinară cu fonduri puține și cu sportivi și antrenori locali ceea ce face ca medalia să fie și mai valoroasă și mai strălucitoare!
Părinții sportivilor, prin consecvență, încredere în antrenori și aportul financiar adus echipei, dovedesc că un bun management și cu un grup unit și dedicat poate produce rezultate chiar și în dificila competiție masculină dominată de cluburi bogate și cu renume național!
