During 28-30 June at Oradea, the North Zone's first national championship qualifier round takes place for players born in 2000-2001.

For many, this will be the first outing at a high caliber polo tournament, so lot of excitement for the very young team. They depart on Thursday to play the matches listed in the attached timetable as sent by the Federation. Again the gremlin behind this blog is affected by travel, but will try to give news as soon as possible.

So we wish the team a superb exciting tournament and best of success in playing against these teams! Have a great and memorable water polo-filled weekend boys!

Între 28-30 iunie la Oradea se va desfășura primul tur de calificare al Zonei Nord la campionatul național de copii născuți în 2000/2001.

Pentru mulți, acesta va fi primul lor turneu de polo de mare calibru, așa că multe emoții pentru tânăra echipă. Ei pleacă joi și vor juca meciurile listate în tabela primită de la Federație. Micuțul spiriduș în spatele acestui blog este iar afectat de călătorii dar va încerca să dea știri cât mai repede posibil.

Deci dorim tuturor un turneu superb și mult succes în meciurile jucate cu aceste echipe! Să aveți un weekend memorabil și saturat cu polo pe apă, băieți!

Nagyváradon június 28-30 között a 2000-2001-ben született gyerekek országos bajnokságának első  északi zónabeli selejtezőjére kerül sor.

Sokaknak ez lesz az első nagykaliberű vízilabda turnéjuk, így érthetően izgalommal készül a nagyon fiatal csapat. Csütörtökön indulnak és a Szövetségtől kapott táblázatban látható meccseket játsszák le majd. A blog mögötti kismanó ismét utazás befolyásolja, de igyekszik majd minél hamarabb hírekkel szolgálni.

Kívánunk a csapatnak szuper és izgalmas turnét és sok sikert ezen csapatokkal játszott meccseken! Emlékezetes és vízilabdával telített hétvégét, srácok!

For many, school finished, for others lots of exams coming up, but among all the excitement, the lads continue training.

With some delay, a photo album is now online on the photo page of this blog, with the Swimathon pictures where many took part.

The teams have training matches with the junior teams from Torpi and Minimax clubs, as you can imagine the matches with the (by the way, freshly crowned as national junior champions, huge congrats!) Torpi girls' team were highlights for the boys.

Also, the lads who we had the pleasure of having in our teams in the past for a while, now playing again with their home team, Crisul Oradea, were having the super joy of winning the junior1 national championship. Congrats to all!

Also, after the sad termination of our junior I team in February this year, most of the lads have found a way to continue the sport they love so much (and to which they dedicated many years of hard work), with the Torpi club. It is great to see them play again with many of their friends, so we wish them, too lots of success in the future!

So a lot of water polo fun in the pool, also some serious business, as the 2000-2001 age group team would go for the end of June national championship qualifiers.

Pentru mulți, școala s-a terminat, dar pentru alții vin examene - și continuă și antrenamentele.

Cu ceva întârziere, albumul despre recentul Swimathon este acum pe pagina de poze (Photos) de pe acest blog.

Echipele au meciuri de antrenamente cu jucătorii de la Torpi și Minimax, și după cum se poate imagina, meciurile cu echipa de fete de la Torpi (proaspăt deveniți campioni naționali! enorme felicitări!) sunt memorabile pentru băieți... :)

Totodată, băieții pe care am avut plăcerea să-i avem în fosta echipă de juniori II pentru un timp, acum jucând iar cu echipa lor de acasă, Crișul Oradea, au avut imensa plăcere să devină campioni naționali la Juniori I ! Felicitări la toți!

Și după trista anulare a echipei de juniori I în februarie anul acesta, majoritatea băieților au găsit o modalitate de a continua sportul iubit și pentru care au dedicat mulți ani de muncă grea - este o bucurie să-i vedem jucând iar cu prietenii lor la echipa de juniori I de la clubul Torpi. Mult succes pentru viitor cu toate planurile și ambițiile lor!

Așa că mult polo în bazin, și muncă serioasă, pentru că echipa din grupa de vârstă 2000-2001 ar merge la turneul de calificare pentru campionatul național la sfârșitul lunii iunie.

Vacanță plăcută tuturor, mult succes cu examene - și multă fericire cu polo!

Sokak számára véget ért a suli, másoknak még sok vizsga következik - és folytatódnak az edzések is.

Kis késéssel, a nemrégi Swimathon-on készült fotók albuma felkerült a blogra a fotó (Photos) oldalon.

A csapatok edzőmérkőzéseket is játszanak a Torpi és Minimax klubokkal, és el lehet képzelni mennyire emlékezetesek a srácok számára a (máskülönben nemrég országos bajnokká vált!) Torpi lánycsapattal játszott meccsek.

Ugyanakkor a kellemes emlékeket idéző váradi fiúk, akik egy ideig nálunk játszottak, most ismét a Kőrös Nagyvárad junior I csapatával országos bajnokok lettek!  Gratulálunk mindnyájuknak!

Miután februárban szomorú körülmények között feloszlatták a junior I-es csapatunkat, a srácok nagy része megtalálta a megoldást arra, hogy szeretett sportjukat folytassák, sok év kemény munka után. Így nagy öröm látni őket ismét polózni barátaikkal, a Torpi klub junior I-es csapatában. Sok sikert kívánunk nekik a jövőben!

Így keményen megy a polózás, de komoly meló, mert a 2000-2001-es korcsoportban június végén a gyerekek mennének az országos bajnokság első selejtezőjére.

Kellemes vakációt mindenkinek és sok sikert a vizsgákra - és sok boldog vízilabdázást!

Today many of the lads from our former and current teams took part in a charity Swimathon, where 60 minutes of swimming was raising funds for numerous projects.

So it was a super active Saturday for good causes, swimmer and water polo players contributing to the successes of several teams. On the list of teams who finished in Top 3 places (109, 89 and 88 pool lengths!), but also in others, we can see lots of familiar names - congrats!

Mulți dintre foștii și prezenți jucători de-ai noștri au luat parte azi la swimathon-ul caritabil unde 60 de minute de înot prin care se strângeau fonduri pentru diferite proiecte și cauze.

Deci a fost o sâmbătă superbă, înotători și poloiști contribuind la succesele multor echipe înscrise. Pe lista echipelor clasate pe primele trei locuri (cu 109, 89 si 88 de bazine!), dar nu numai, putem vedea multe nume cunoscute - felicitări!

Sokan a volt és jelen polósaink közül ma résztvettek a jótékonysági Swimathon-on, ahol 60 perces úszással több projektre gyűjtöttek támogatást.

Szuper szombat volt tehát, úszók és polósok hozzájárultak több beiratkozott csapat sikeréhez. Az első három helyen végzett (109, 89 és 88 medence hosszal!), és a többi csapat listáján is láthatunk sok ismerős nevet... gratulálunk fiúk!

One could not have asked for a better 6-day-long break from school, with nonstop summer heat reaching often 30 degrees...

The Olympic pool was closed during the festive holidays, so the teams played football and had great fun paintballing. Alas, all good things come to an end :), and the lads return to school and to the usual heavy training routine.

On May 17, the '98-'99 age group teams will have the next stage of the regional championship, with two very tough cookies, Oradea and Arad. Then at the end of June the 2000-'01 age group team has the first qualification round for the national championships.

So... everyone returns to "work", and school might finish in a few weeks' time, but preparations for exciting water polo matches continue. All the best boys and a happy return to the "routine" :)!

O minivacanță de 6 zile nici nu se putea fi mai bună, cu vară nonstop și temperaturi care des atingeau 30 de grade...

Bazinul olimpic a fost închis în timpul vacanței festive, așa că echipele jucau fotbal și s-au distrat în mod activ cu paintballing. Dar, tot ce e bun trebuie să ia sfârșit :), băieții se întorc la școală și la rutine lor obișnuită de antrenamente grele.

Pe 17 mai, cei din 98-99 for avea următoarea etapă a campionatului regional, cu două echipe tari, Arad și Oradea. La sfârșitul lunii iunie, cei din 2000-2001 vor avea prima rundă de calificare pentru campionatul național.

Deci toți se întorc la ”lucru” și chiar dacă școala se termină în câteva săptămâni, pregătirile pentru meciuri excitante continuă. Toate cele bune băieților și reîntoarcere veselă la ”rutină” :) !

A hat napos minivakáció nem is lehetett volna klasszabb, nonstop nyárral és 30 fokos meleggel...

A medencét bezárták az ünnepek alatt, így a csapatok fociztak és paintball kommandónak képezték át magukat... De minden jó véget ér :), a srácok visszatérnek suliba és a szokásos kemény edzésekhez is.

Május 17-ikén a 98-99-es csapat a vidéki bajnokság következő fordulóján vesz részt, két kemény dióval játszanak, Araddal és Nagyváraddal. Június végén pedig a 2000-2001-es csapat megy az országos bajnokság első selejtezőjére.

Tehát mindenki visszatér "melózni" és noha a sulinak vége néhány hét múlva, a felkészülés izgalmas poló meccsekre folytatódik majd. Minden jót srácok és vidám visszatérést a "rutinba" :) !
