For many months, it was something eagerly awaited that sat in the calendar as a very special marking.

It was something that focused many of our thoughts, generated excitement, motivated and stimulated huge and admirable amounts of preparation work from the coaches and the players...

And now it's here!... The junior II national water polo championship starts today, and for the North Zone teams, as we mentioned before, its first stage takes place in the Transylvanian town of Oradea.

For Aquasport's team the championship begins with two matches on Friday, then Saturday and Sunday will have more action for everybody. But the lads already had their first trials during Thursday's norms, swimming 100m and 400m against the clock.

We wish everyone all the best for this true feast of water polo - lots of success lads!

De multe luni de zile, exista ceva foarte anticipat ce stătea în calendar ca o notă foarte specială.

A fost ceva ce a concentrat gândurile noastre, a generat multă excitație, a motivat și stimulat o doză enormă și admirabilă de pregătire din partea antrenorilor și a jucătorilor...

Și acum a sosit!... Campionatul național de polo pe apă categoria Juniori II începe azi, și pentru Zona Nord, după cum am mai amintit, prima etapă ia loc la Oradea.

Pentru echipa Aquasport campionatul începe cu două meciuri vineri, apoi sâmbătă și duminică urmează și mai multă acțiune pentru toți. Dar de fapt băieții au avut deja prima probă joi, când au înotat normele la 100m și 400m contra cronometru.

Urăm tuturor toate cele bune pentru această veritabilă sărbătoare de polo pe apă - mult succes băieți!

Sok hónapja létezik valami egészen különleges a naptárban, aminek hatalmas várakozással néztünk elébe.

Valami, ami összpontosította gondolatainkat, sok izgalom forrása volt, motivált és stimulált hatalmas és csodálatra méltó felkészülést edzők és játékosok részéről...

És most megérkezett!... A Junior II országos vízilabda bajnokság ma kezdődik, és az északi zóna számára, mint korábban említettük, Nagyváradon kerül rá sor az első fordulóra.

Aquasport csapata számára a bajnokság pénteken két meccsel indul, majd szombaton és vasárnap még több akció van napirenden. De a srácoknal már megvolt az első megpróbáltatás csütörtökön, mikor a 100m és 400m normákat úszták le időre.

Kívánunk mindenkinek a legjobbakat erre a valóságos vízilabda ünnepre - sok sikert srácok, hajrá!

Barely having returned from Budapest, the 1995-’96 age group team (junior II) is busily preparing for the next weekend that brings the Romanian national championship’s first round in the calendar.

It will take place, for the teams in the so-called North Zone, in the Transylvanian city of Oradea, matches starting on Friday 9 March and continuing until Sunday 11 March.

So a lot of preparation and concentration this week, as they are getting ready to get to Oradea on Thursday. Among the teams they will meet this weekend are Torpi Tg.-Mures, CSM Cluj, Crisul Oradea, Viitorul Cluj,

Hence we wish the team and coach all the best with the coming days’ busy training and of course, lots of success for next weekend’s calendar packed with matches !

Abia întorşi de la Budapesta, echipa din grupa de vârstă 1995-96 (juniori II) se prepară deja activ pentru weekendul următor care aduce în calendar primul tur din campionatul naţional al României.

Pentru echipele din aşa-numita Zonă Nord, acesta va avea loc la Oradea, meciurile începând vineri 9 martie şi continuând până duminică 11 martie.

Deci multă pregătire şi concentrare în timpul acestei săptămâni, în timp ce se pregătesc să fie în Oradea în ziua de joi. Între echipele cu care se vor întâlni în timpul acestui sfârşit de săptămână se numără Torpi Tg.-Mureş, CSM Cluj, Crişul Oradea, Viitorul Cluj.

Aşadar urăm antrenorului şi jucătorilor toate cele bune cu pregătirile din această săptămână şi desigur, mult succes pentru calendarul saturat cu meciuri!

Alig érkeztek haza Budapestről, de az 1995-'96-os korcsoportba tartozó (junior II) csapatunk már aktívan készül a hétvégére, amely a román országos bajnokság első fordulóját hozza számukra a naptárban.

Az úgynevezett északi zóna csapatai számára a meccsek Nagyváradon zajlanak majd, pénteken azaz március 9-ikén kezdődnek és vasárnapig tartanak.

Így tehát masszív felkészülés és összpontosítás ezen a héten, miközben készülnek Váradon lenni csütörtökön. Ezen a hétvégén a meccsek listáján szerepelnek a Torpi Marosvásárhely, CSM Kolozsvár, Crişul Nagyvárad, Viitorul Kolozsvár csapatai is.

Ezért edzőnek és játékosoknak egyaránt kívánjuk a legjobbakat az elkövetkező napok edzéseire és természetesen sok sok sikert a hétvége meccsekkel telített naptárához!

As mentioned in previous blog post, the club's older team set off on Friday on yet another trip to Budapest, for the Diapolo championship's next stage, this time having two matches.

So again our players had the enviable opportunity to play with highest calibre teams that supply talent to the Hungarian national water polo team.

The first match took place at 2PM with the team UVSE-A, which at that point occupied 2nd place in the Diapolo table with only one defeat and one draw in the 10 matches played so far.

It was again one of those matches that are really not recommended for weak hearts, Aquasport leading 6-5 at the end of the 2nd quarter, then ending after an ultra-tight battle with the score of 13-7 for UVSE-A. Hence one writes with quite an amount of recognition towards the lads for having achieved such a balanced match against such a team.

The Aquasport lads' second match followed after a brief rest already at 4PM, with another renowned team, Honved Budapest. The match can only be described as brutal, and it was interrupted, noting a score of 5-0 for Honved.

Huge appreciation to the lads for a fierce and very respectable effort in standing their ground, even in exceptional circumstances during the second match, and we wholeheartedly wish the team an easy journey home and lots of well-deserved rest on Sunday.

După cum am amintit în articolul trecut de pe blog, echipa mai în vârstă a pornit vineri la încă un drum spre Budapesta, pentru etapa următoare a campionatului Diapolo care de data aceasta a adus două meciuri pentru ei.

Deci jucătorii noștri au avut iar oportunitatea demnă de invidiat de a juca cu echipe de cel mai înalt calibru, care furnizează talente echipei naționale ungare.

Primul meci a avut loc la două după-masa cu echipa UVSE-A, care ocupa în momentul respectiv al doilea loc in clasamentul campionatului, cu numai o înfrângere şi o egalitate din cele 10 meciuri jucate până acum.

A fost iar un meci din categoria celor care nu sunt recomandate pentru inimi slabe, Aquasport conducând cu 6-5 la capătul sfertului doi, şi a luat sfârşit după o bătălie ultra-strânsă cu scorul de 13-7 pentru UVSE-A. Deci  scriem cu o doză de recunoştinţă la adresa băieţilor pentru un meci aşa de echilibrat împotriva unei echipe ca aceasta.

Al doilea meci a urmat după o mică pauză deja ora la patru după-masa, cu o altă echipă renumită, Honved Budapesta. Meciul se poate descrie ca unul brutal, a fost întrerupt şi scorul se consemnează ca 5-0 pentru Honved.

Multă apreciere băieţilor pentru un efort excepţional, demn de respect mai ales în neobişnuitele circumstanţe din al doilea meci - şi dorim echipei o călătorie uşoară spre casă, multă odihnă meritată duminică.

Mint előbbi blog jegyzetben említettük, a klub idősebb csapata ismét Budapest fele indult pénteken a Diapolo bajnokság következő fordulójára, amely ezúttal két meccset hozott számukra.

Ismét tehát csapatunknak azon irigylésre méltó lehetőség adatott meg, hogy olyan magas kaliberű csapatokkal játszhattak, amelyek a magyar válogatott utánpotlói is.

Az első meccs az UVSE A csapatával délután kettőkor kezdődött, ők a bajnokság táblázatában második helyen álltak, eddig egyetlen vereséggel és egy döntetlennel az eddig játszott 10 meccsük után.

Ismét egy olyan típusú meccs volt, amelyet gyenge szívűeknek nem lehet ajánlani, 6-5 arányban vezetett is az Aquasport a második negyed végén, és egy rendkívül szoros küzdelem után 13-7-es eredménnyel zárult az UVSE-A javára - és egy ilyen csapat elleni ennyire kiegyensúlyozott meccs miatt a srácok iránti jó adag elismeréssel írjuk ezt.

Aquasport második meccse rövid pihenő után már délután négykor kezdődött ismét egy híres csapattal, a Honvéd Budapest-tel. A meccset brutálisnak lehet nevezni, félbeszakadt és 5-0 eredményt jegyeznek így a Honvéd javára.

Tisztelet a srácoknak a nagyon kemény helytállásért és hatalmas erőfeszítésért a második meccs rendkívüli körülményei közepette is, és kívánunk a csapatnak könnyű utat hazafele, sok megérdemelt pihenést vasárnapra.

Purely based on the calendar, it may look like as something part of a weekly 'routine' - but the next weekend is again a very special and a very busy one for the older age group team.

After last Saturday's excitements and action, 3 March has two matches in store for the lads in the Diapolo championship. They will depart again towards Budapest as a team with 18 points and a goal difference of +10, currently holding 5th position in this tough championship table.

Once again, they are playing with two elite teams from Budapest, UVSE-A and Honved (HPVKSE-ESMTK), the teams currently on 2nd and 8th positions of the table.

Hence, once again, we wish them a pleasant journey and also a good rest after the long drive and before the busy afternoon - and, of course, a lot of success for the two matches!

Numai pe baza calendarului, weekendul următor poate să pară ca ceva ce face parte dintr-o rutină săptămânală - dar acesta va fi iarăşi un weekend foarte special şi foarte intens pentru jucătorii din grupa mai mare de vârstă.

După sâmbăta trecută excitantă şi plină de acţiune, 3 martie aduce două meciuri pentru băieţi în cadrul campionatului Diapolo. Ei pornesc spre Budapesta cu 18 puncte şi diferenţă de goluri de +10, fiind în prezent pe locul cinci în acest campionat greu.

Şi de data aceasta, ei vor juca cu două echipe de elită din Budapesta, UVSE-A şi Honved (HPVKSE-ESMTK), echipe care deţin locul doi şi opt în tabelă.

Deci, încă o dată, le urăm călătorie plăcută şi odihnă bună după drumul lung şi înainte de după-masa acea intensă - şi desigur mult succes pentru cele două meciuri!

Pusztán a naptár alapján a következő hétvége egy heti rutin részének tűnhet - de ez ismét egy nagyon különleges és rendkívül intenzív hétvége lesz a klub idősebb csapata számára.

A múlt hétvége izgalmai után március harmadika két meccset hoz a srácok számára a Diapolo bajnokságban. Ismét Budapest fele indulnak, jelenleg 18 ponttal, +10 gólkülönbséggel, a táblázatban ötödik helyen állva.

Ismét budapesti elit csapatokkal játszanak majd, mégpedig az UVSE A csapatával és a Honvéddal (HPVKSE-ESMTK), ezen csapatok jelenleg a második, illetve nyolcadik helyen állnak.

Úgyhogy ismét kellemes utazást kívánunk és kiadós pihenést a hosszú út után és azon intenzív délután előtt - és természetesen sok sok sikert a két meccshez!
