Today we had one match left, with Viitorul Cluj - another beautiful match with very solid effort from the boys, and after another extremely tight fight, in the final parts of the encounter Cluj managed to gain advantage, ending with final score of 12-8.

This ends the tournament, the small contingent of lads produced some truly beautiful water polo battles and a very respectable effort against superb teams with great experience.

We wish everyone a very well deserved rest and to all those who celebrate Easter now, a very Happy Easter with lots of Easter eggs with lots of calories :) after three days of matches!

Azi ne-a mai rămas un meci cu Viitorul Cluj - încă un meci frumos cu efort solid de la băieți, și încă o luptă foarte strânsă, în care în final Clujul a reușit să câștige avantaj mai solid, scorul final devenind 12-8 pentru ei.

Acest meci încheie pentru noi turneul, mica echipă de băieți a produs bătălii de polo foarte frumoase și un efort foarte respectabil împotriva unor echipe superbe cu multă experiență.

Dorim tuturor odihnă foarte bine meritată și pentru toți cei care sărbătoresc Paștele acum, Paști Fericit și multe ouă cu multe calorii :) după trei zile de meciuri!

Ma egy meccsünk maradt, a Viitorul Kolozsvár ellen - ismét egy szép meccs és szolid erőfeszítés a srácok részéről. Ismét nagyon szoros meccs volt, a vége fele Kolozsvár nagyobb előnyre tett szert és 12-8-ra győztek.

Ezzel véget ért a turné számunkra, a kis csapat srác valóban szép vízilabda csatákat produkált, és egy nagyon tiszteletreméltó erőfeszítés volt nagyon tapasztalt szuper csapatok ellen.

Kívánunk mindenkinek jól megérdemelt pihenést és Boldog Húsvétot, sok kalóriadús húsvéti tojással :) három nap meccsezés után!

Second day ● A doua zi ● Második nap

Today we had again two matches, the morning encounter with CSM Cluj was a superb one, with very tight scores throughout. Cluj lead then Aquasport, then went neck to neck until the final minutes when Cluj managed to establish a firmer lead - final score of 14-11 for Cluj. Congrats to everyone for a really beautiful exciting match!

In the evening, at 8PM came the match against AMEFA Arad, an admirable team in their strategy & execution, final score ending up 16-6  for Arad.

Once again, a superb day of waterpolo, and we wish everyone a very good rest for the final, third, day of matches!

Azi au urmat iar două meciuri, întâlnirea de dimineață fiind cu CSM Cluj. A fost un meci superb și foarte strâns, Cluj a luat conducerea, după care Aquasport, apoi în ultimele minute Clujul a reușit să ia avantaj mai solid, cu scorul final de 14-11 pentru Cluj. Felicitări tuturor pentru un meci foarte frumos și excitant!

Seara la opt a urmat meciul cu AMEFA Arad, o echipă cu strategie și execuție admirabilă, scorul final fiind 16-6 pentru Arad.

Deci încă o zi superbă de polo, și dorim tuturor odihnă bună pentru ultima, a treia, zi de meciuri!

Ma ismét két meccsünk volt, a reggeli a CSM Kolozsvár csapatával szuper szoros találkozó volt. Ők vezettek, majd Aquasport és szoros küzdelem után Kolozsvár tett szolidabb előnyre az utolsó percekben, 14-11-re győzve. Gratulálunk egy nagyon szép izgalmas meccsért!

Este nyolckor következett az AMEFA Arad elleni meccs, egy stratégiájában és végrehajtásban csodálatra méltó csapat volt az ellenfél. A végeredmény 16-6 volt Arad javára.

Ismét egy szuper vízilabda nap, és mindenkinek kívánunk jó pihenést a holnapi harmadik és utolsó meccs naphoz!

Today the tournament began with the match between the two local clubs, Torpi and Aquasport - after a solid start by Torpi, the very nice match became one of many exciting twists & turns, ending with 15-12 for Aquasport, with one penalising point awarded against the latter.

The afternoon brought more matches, at 19:00 Aquasport played Crisul Oradea, and as expected, it was a super tough match - final score having become 21-5 for Crisul Oradea.

Azi turneul a început cu meciul între cele două cluburi locale, Torpi și Aquasport - după un start solid de la Torpi, meciul a fost frumos cu multe întorsături excitante, scorul final fiind 15-12 pentru Aquasport, cu un punct de penalizare acordat împotriva Aquasport.

După-masă au continuat meciurile, la 19:00 a urmat meciul contra Crișul Oradea, și cum era de așteptat, a fost unul super greu, cu scorul final de 21-5 pentru Crișul.

Odihnă bună tuturor și mult succes cu meciurile de mâine!

Ma a turné a két helyi csapat közötti meccsel indult, Torpi és Aquasport játszott. Egy szolid Torpi start után a szép meccs tele volt izgalmas fordulatokkal, végeredmény 15-12 lett Aquasport javára, ellenük egy büntető ponttal.

A délután több meccset hozott, hétkor Aquasport a nagyváradi Kőrös ellen játszott és mint várható volt, szuper nehéz mérkőzés lett, amely végén az eredmény 21-5 volt a nagyváradiak javára.

Jó pihenést mindenkinek és sok sikert a további meccsekhez!

On the 28 March, our hometown's Olympic pool at the Weekend Complex will be again the scene of the Junior II national water polo championship's second qualification tournament for the so-called North Zone.

An 8:30 AM technical meeting will mark the beginning, and shortly after that two local clubs will have the opening match: Torpi MS (the hosts) and Aquasport.

All the best for the participating teams and we warmly welcome the public! Please find below the timetable of the matches, in one hour-long slots, subject to possible changes.

Din data de 28 martie, bazinul Olimpic al Complexului Weekend din orașul nostru va fi iar scena celui de-al doilea turneu de calificare pentru campionatul național Junior II de polo pe apă, Zona Nord.

Joi, la 8:30 o ședință tehnică va marca începutul, și după aceasta cele două cluburi locale vor juca primul meci: Torpi MS (gazdele) și Aquasport.

Mult succes participanților și așteptăm cu drag publicul! Mai jos puteți găsi tabelul meciurilor, în sloturi de o oră, modificări sunt posibile.

Március 28-ikától városunk Víkendtelepének olimpiai medencéje ismét helyszíne lesz az Ifi II vízilabda országos bajnokság északi zónája második selejtező fordulójának.

Csütörtök reggel fél kilenckor egy technikai gyűléssel indul, és ezután a két helyi klub találkozik, a házigazda Torpi MS játssza az első meccset az Aquasporttal.

Minden résztevőnek kívánunk sok sikert és szeretettel várjuk a közönséget! Lennebb a meccsek órarendjét láthatják, egy órás periódusokra bontva - módosulások még lehetségesek.

As of today, until end of next week, we have special guests from Cologne, Germany in the shape of a junior water polo team.

The lads will stay for joint training sessions and friendly matches with Aquasport, Torpi and the team from Brasov, a superb experience before the start of the national championship qualification round next week.

So a warm welcome to the guests and despite winter’s very stubborn stay this year, we hope they will have the chance of fully enjoy our city!

De azi, până la sfârşitul săptămânii viitoare, avem oaspeţi speciali din Köln, Germania, şi anume echipă de polo de juniori din acel oraş.

Băieţii vor avea antrenamente şi meciuri amicale cu noi şi Torpi, plus echipa din Braşov, o experienţă superbă înainte de startul returului de calificare la campionatul naţional care începe săptămâna viitoare.

Deci un bun venit călduros oaspeţilor, şi cu toate că iarna pare foarte încăpăţânată anul acesta, sperăm că vor avea şansa să se bucure din plin de ce are de oferit oraşul nostru!

A jövő hét végéig különleges vendégeknek örvendhetünk, mégpedig Köln ifi vízilabda csapatának.

A srácok közös edzéseken vesznek részt és barátságos mérkőzéseket játszanak velünk, a Torpi-val és Brassó csapatával is, ez kitűnő élmény a jövő héten kezdődő országos bajnokság második selejtező fordulója előtt.

Így melegen üdvözöljük vendégeinket és noha a tél az idén makacsul maradni akar, reméljük sikerül maximálisan élvezni amit városunk nyújtani tud.

Our neighbour, the water polo super power Hungary is celebrating today its National Day, commemorating the start of their 1848 Revolution that transformed itself into a fight for independence from the Habsburg Empire.

We would like to send our best festive wishes for the celebration of their National Day!

Vecina noastră, superputerea în polo-ul pe apă, Ungaria îşi sărbătoreşte azi ziua naţională,  comemorând începutul Revoluţiei lor din 1848, care s-a transformat în lupta pentru independenţă împotriva imperiului Habsburg.

Le trimitem cele mai frumoase urări festive şi binecuvântare de ocazia celebrării zilei naţionale!

Szomszédunk, a vízilabda nagyhatalom Magyarország ma ünnepli Nemzeti Napját, megemlékezve az 1848-as magyar Forradalom kezdetéről, amely a Habsburg birodalom elleni szabadságharccá vált.

Aquamarathon!

Aquasport 3rd place

The AquaMarathon  began at noon on Saturday! As mentioned, teams of 12 swimmers take part, each swimming for 30 minutes every 6 hours - it ends at noon on Sunday.

It is a super physical, and as you can tell from the above, mental challenge! With 13 teams competing, it's a huge event - and among the local swimmer and water polo teams, Aquasport lads also take part and doing really well!

Aquasport lads achieved third place, congratulations on a splendid effort! and have a good rest everybody!

AquaMaratonul a început sâmbătă la amiază! După cum am amintit, echipe de 12 înotători iau parte, fiecare înotând 30 de minute la fiecare 6 ore, până duminică amiază.

Este  un test fizic superb, dar după cum se poate deduce din cele de mai sus, unul și mental! Cu 13 echipe, este un eveniment enorm - și între echipele de înotători și poloiști, participă și băieții de la Aquasport și progresează foarte frumos.

Băieții Aquasport au terminat pe locul trei, felicitări! și odihnă bună tuturor!

Az Aquamaraton  szombat délben kezdődött. Mint említettük, 12 úszóból álló csapatok vesznek részt, mindenki 30 percet úszik 6 óránként. Vasárnap délben ér véget. 

Kemény fizikai, de a fentiek alapján látható, hogy szellemi próba is, és 13 csapat részvételével ez hatalmas esemény. Az úszók és vízilabdások között Aquasport srácok is résztvesznek és nagyon szépen teljesítettek már.

Aquasport srácok harmadik helyen végeztek, gratulálunk! és jó pihenést mindenkinek!

Saturday, 9 March, at noon begins the swimming marathon at the Olympic pool!

Teams of 12 swimmers will take part, 30 minutes of swimming at 6 hour intervals, so it will be 24 hours of non-stop swimming in that pool. The details can be found at the event's website.

Many teams take part, including those of the town's water polo clubs, so we wish everyone good preparation for the major event and best of success!

Sâmbătă 9 martie la amiază începe maratonul de înot la bazinul Olimpic!

Echipe de 12 înotători vor lua parte, vor înota 30 de minute la intervale de 6 ore, așa că bazinul va avea înot non-stop timp de 24 de ore. Detalii se pot vedea pe pagina evenimentului.

Multe echipe iau parte, inclusiv de la cluburile de polo pe apă din oraș, deci dorim tuturor pregătire bună și mult succes pentru acest eveniment major!

Március 9-ikén szombaton délben indul az úszó maraton az olimpiai medencében!

12 úszóból álló csapatok vesznek részt, mindenki 30 percet úszik 6 óránként, így a medencében 24 órán át folyik majd az úszás. Részleteket az esemény honlapján lehet látni.

Sok csapat vesz részt, beleértve a város vízilabda klubjait is, így kívánunk mindenkinek jó felkészülést és sok sikert e nagy eseményen!

Saturday at Szentes ● Sâmbătă la Szentes ● Szombat Szentesen

Today at the regional championship the lads born in 1999 and later play two matches. Extra appreciation is due for the efforts of a very small and young team.

The first tough encounter was with Arad, 2nd in the group, and it again was an exciting affair, Arad ended first quarter 6-2, then Aquasport began 2nd quarter with 2 goals, and it continued with such twists and turns, Arad taking more of a lead and final score being 17-7 for them after a very tight final quarter. Details can be seen here.

The second match was at 2PM local time against Kiskunfelegyhaza, this one proved to be a really tight one, second quarter dominated by the team from Hungary but the rest were very balanced. Final score was 10-7 for Kiskunfelegyhaza.  Detailed notes can be read here.

Once again, an action-packed day where everybody had a chance to contribute to the tense battles in the pool, so as usual, congrats to everybody for the solid efforts and goals, we wish the team a very safe journey home and lots of good rest!

Azi la campionatul regional băieții născuți în 1999 și mai târziu joacă două meciuri. Apreciem mult efortul suplimentar făcut de o echipă foarte mică și tânără.

Primul meci greu a fost cu Arad, pe locul doi în grupă, și a fost iar unul excitant, Arad câștigând primul sfert 6-2 după care Aquasport a deschis sfertul al doilea cu 2 goluri marcate, și meciul a continuat cu astfel de întorsături, Arad distanțându-se treptat - scorul final a fost 17-7 pentru Arad după un ultim sfert strâns. Meciul al doilea a fost la ora două cu Kiskunfelegyhaza. Acesta s-a dovedit a fi unul chiar strâns de tot, sfertul al doilea fiind dominat de echipa din Ungaria, dar restul meciului a fost foarte echilibrat. Scorul final a fost 10-7 pentru ei. Detalii se pot citi aici.

Încă o dată, o zi saturată cu acțiune, toți reușin să contribuie la bătăliile tensionate din bazin - ca de obicei, felicitări pentru efortul solid și golurile marcate, dorim echipei călătorie plăcută spre casă și odihnă bună!

Ma a vidéki bajnokságon az 1999-ben és később született srácok két meccset játszanak. Nagyon becsüljük a plusz erőfeszítést amit egy kis létszámú és fiatal küldöttség ki kellett hozzon magából.

Az első kemény találkozó a csoportban második helyen álló Araddal volt, ismét izgalmasan zajlott, Arad nyerte az első negyedet 6-2-vel, majd két góllal nyitotta a második negyedet az Aquasport, és további fordulatok után Arad nagyobb előnyre tett szert, a végeredmény 17-7 lett javukra egy nagyon szoros utolsó negyed után. A második meccs helyi idő szerint kettőkor volt Kiskunfélegyházával. Ez nagyon szorosnak bizonyult, a második negyedet a magyar csapat dominálta, de a meccs többi része nagyon kiegyensúlyozott volt. A végeredmény 10-7 lett Kiskunfélegyháza javára. Részletek itt találhatóak.

Ismét tehát egy akciódús nap, amely során mindenkinek sikerült alaposan kivennie részét a csatározásból - így gratulálunk a szolid erőbedobásért és gólokért, és kívánunk a csapatnak jó utat hazafele és alapos jó pihenést!
