Second day at Oradea ● A doua zi la Oradea ● Második nap Nagyváradon

The second day brought one last match in this tournament for our team, and this time with the Junior I team from Cluj.

This age group with its hugely experienced teams has shown again its inherent difficulties, the team from Cluj winning in the end after a tight and tense match with 10-7.

The lads are returning home, quite a few hours on wintery roads still await them, so we wish the whole team a safe pleasant journey and after the tough matches, holidays can really begin :)

A doua zi a adus ultimul meci jucat de către echipa noastră la acest turneu, de data aceasta cu echipa de Juniori I de la Cluj.

Dificultățile jocului în această grupă de vârstă cu echipe cu enormă experiență au fost demonstrate, echipa clujeană după un meci tensionat și strâns câștigând cu scorul de 10-7.

Băieții se întorc acasă, încă multe ore pe drumuri de iarnă le așteaptă, așa că dorim tuturor călătorie plăcută, și după meciuri grele vacanța poate să înceapă cu adevărat!

A második nap csapatunk számára a turné utolsó meccsét hozta, ezúttal a kolozsvári ifi I-es csapattal.

E korcsoport rendkívül tapasztalt csapataival való játék nehézségeit ismét mutatta a meccs, amelyen feszes küzdelem után Kolozsvár győzött 10-7-re.

A srácok jönnek is haza, még jó pár óra utazás vár rájuk télies utakon, így kívánunk nekik biztonságos jó utat - és a kemény meccsek után most már igazából kezdődik a vakáció!

First day at Oradea ● Prima zi la Oradea ● Első nap Nagyváradon

Today was the first day at the first qualification round at the national championship for our Junior I team.

It was expected to be a very tough start, with two matches against the best teams, Arad and Oradea.

The morning match with Arad ended 17-7 in Arad's favour, after they took the lead but then a superb fight put up by our lads wasn't sufficient to balance the match. A beautiful effort, considering the sheer class and experience of the opponents.

Second match was with Oradea and quite dramatic, starting with a very tight quarter where teams went neck to neck 1-1, but then Oradea progressively gained advantage, winning 15-1.

Wishing a very good rest to the lads, also lots of energy and success for tomorrow's match with Cluj!

Azi a fost prima zi la prima rundă de calificare la campionatul național pentru echipa noastră Juniori I.

A fost să fie un start foarte dur, cu meciuri împotriva celor două echipe top, Arad și Oradea.

Meciul de dimineață cu Arad a avut scorul final 17-7 pentru Arad, după ce ei au luat conducerea și superba luptă de la băieții noștri nu a fost suficientă pentru echilibrarea meciului. Efort foarte frumos, considerând clasa și experiența adversarilor.

Al doilea meci a fost cu Oradea, a început dramatic cu 1-1 în primul sfert strâns apoi Oradea a câștigat avantaj din ce în mai mult, câștigând cu 15-1.

Urăm odihnă bună și multă energie și succes pentru meciul de mâine cu Clujul!

Ma volt az országos bajnokság első selejtező fordulójának első napja az Ifi I-es csapatunk számára.

Kemény kezdetre számíthattunk, tekintve két legjobb csapat volt az ellenfél, Arad és Nagyvárad.

A reggeli meccsen Arad 17-7-re győzött, miután előnyre tettek szert és a srácaink kemény harca nem volt elég a meccs kiegyensúlyozásához. Nagyon szép erőfeszítés tekintve az ellenfél klasszisát és tapasztalatát.

A második meccs Nagyváraddal volt, drámaian kezdődött, 1-1-es szoros első negyeddel, ezután a váradi csapat nagyobb előnyt szerzett és 15-1-re győzött.

Jó pihenést kívánunk a srácoknak és sok energiát és sikert a holnapi meccsre Kolozsvár ellen!

This year it was a very joyous fact that the boys have made local sport history, by qualifying at the national championship, hence our home town was represented there for the first time in 26 years. After which they achieved a very respectable 5th place among the best, most experienced and long-standing teams the country has...

And here we are again, pulse rates and adrenaline levels will peak soon... as the Junior I age group first qualifying round takes place at Oradea between 21-23 December.

Unfortunately the little gremlin that writes this blog will be travelling at the start of the championship, so in advance apologies for delays in reporting news here - but will pick the thread up as soon as possible.

The lads are departing soon to Oradea so it's safe to say we all wish them the very best and lots of success at the championship!

Anul acesta a fost un fapt excitant că băieții s-au înscris in istoria sportivă locală, prin calificarea lor la campionatul național, orașul nostru fiind reprezentat acolo pentru prima oară după 26 de ani de absență. După aceasta ei au obținut respectabilul loc cinci între cele mai bune echipe cu mult mai multă experiență și tradiție...

Și iar am sosit la momentele de maxim ritm cardiac și adrenalină... pentru că la grupa Juniori I, prima rundă de calificare pentru campionatul național se desfășoară la Oradea între 21-23 decembrie.

Din păcate micul spiriduș care scrie blogul va călători în timp ce începe campionatul, așa că în avans scuze pentru întârzieri cu informații pe aceste pagini, dar va continua cât de rapid posibil.

Băieții pleacă curând la Oradea așa că le dorim absolut toate cele bune și mult succes la campionat!

Az idén egy izgalmas tény volt az, hogy a fiúk a helyi sporttörténetbe kerültek az országos bajnokságra való bejutásukkal, ezzel városunk 26 év után először lett képviselve e bajnokságon. Ezek után pedig egy szép ötödik hellyel jöttek haza az ország legjobb, legtapasztaltabb és nagy múltú csapataival játszott meccsek után.

Hát ismét eljött a maximális pulzus és adrenalin szint időszaka, mert az Ifi I-es korcsoportban az országos bajnokság első selejtező fordulója december 21 és 23 között zajlik Nagyváradon.

Sajna a blogot író kis manó utazik éppen a bajnokság kezdetén, így előre is elnézést a késésekért, de a lehető leghamarabb tudósít majd itt.

A srácok hamarosan indulnak Nagyváradra, úgyhogy a legjobbakat kívánjuk és sok sok sikert, hajrá fiúk!

Another championship Saturday ● Încă o sâmbătă de campionat ● Ismét bajnoksági szombat

This Saturday brought again not only bitter cold winter but also two matches for the Junior II team, which played at the regional championship at Dunaujvaros, Hungary.

The lads had a very long bus trip overnight and at noon, they met another Transylvanian team from Arad, which promised to be a tough cookie. The match was a really beautiful one, just judging from the scores of each quarter (2-4, 3-7, 3-4, 7-2 for Aquasport), there was plenty of battle! Arad therefore narrowly won 15-17 against us in a superb match, detailed notes being available at this page.

The second match at 4PM was with the team from Kiskunfelegyhaza, Hungary. Just to keep the tension alive, it was again ultra-tight, 5-5, 6-5, 4-6, 4-5 for Aquasport, Kiskunfelegyhaza winning 21-19 in the end. Detailed notes are here. The lads played basically two quarters with only 5 players, so what a fight, respect lads!

Adrian Campean and Popa Razvan, Maximilian Ilea and Edvard Adam were the goal scorers. Congrats to all as usual for two firey matches of water polo and have a safe journey home lads!

Sâmbăta aceasta a adus iar nu numai vreme foarte friguroasă de iarnă, dar și două meciuri pentru echipa noastră de Juniori II, care a jucat la campionatul regional în Ungaria, la Dunaujvaros.

Băieții au avut o călătorie foarte lungă peste noapte și la prânz au jucat cu echipa de la Arad. Meciul a fost chiar foarte frumos, și judecând numai pe baza rezultatelor din sferturi (2-4, 3-7, 3-4, 7-2 pentru Aquasport), a avut loc o bătălie superbă. Arad deci a învins 17-15 într-un meci foarte strâns, note detaliate fiind pe această pagină.

Al doilea meci a fost la 4 după-masa, împotriva echipei de la Kiskunfelegyhaza. Ca tensiunea să se mențină, și al doilea meci a fost ultra-strâns, 5-5, 6-5, 4-6, 4-5 pentru Aquasport, așa că echipa de la Kiskunfelegyhaza a câștigat cu 21-19. Notele detaliate sunt aici. Băieții au jucat în esență cu 5 jucători numai în două sferturi, așa că ce luptă tare, jos pălăria!

Adrian Câmpean, Popa Răzvan, Maximilian Ilea și Edvard Adam au fost autorii de goluri. Felicitări tuturor ca de obicei pentru două meciuri fierbinți de polo și drum bun spre casă băieți!

E szombat nem csak zord téli időt hozott ismét, hanem két meccset is Ifi II-es csapatunknak, akik a magyar vidéki bajbokságban játszottak Dunaújvárosban.

Hosszú éjjeli utazás után délben Arad ellen játszottak, amely kemény diónak ígérkezett. A meccs valóban szép volt, és ha csak a részeredmények alapján ítéljük is meg (2-4, 3-7, 3-4, 7-2 Aquasportnak) hát bizony volt szuper csatározás. Arad egy feszes mozgalmas meccs után 17-15-re győzött, a részletek ezen az oldalon találhatóak.

A második meccs délután négykor következett, Kiskunfélegyháza csapata ellen. Csak hogy a feszültség fennmaradjon, ez is ultra-szoros meccs volt,  5-5, 6-5, 4-6, 4-5 Aquasportnak, így Kiskunfélegyháza győzött 21-19-re. Részletes jegyzőkönyv itt található. Két negyedben tulajdonképpen mondhatni öt játékossal játszottak, micsoda harc, le a kalappal srácok!

One of those rare weekends again without long trips and matches, but with lots of fresh snow to enjoy. Still a couple of weeks of intense, end-of-year school work and one more round of championship. But also the national championship starts soon, so plenty of adrenaline even before Christmas :)

A quick look at the tables show our 1996 age group team at the top of the group table in the regional championship, with one more stage coming on 15 Dec for them before the year is out. In the Diapolo championship, after some stormy matches and movements in the group table, they are on 4th place in Group B with 3 won matches.

The "little ones", in the team where many had their exciting "baptism by fire" at the regional championship in the 1999 age group, are certainly accumulating valuable experience, currently in 6th place in group 1.

Este una din weekendurile rare, fără lungi călătorii și multe meciuri, dar cu multă zăpadă proaspătă. Încă câteva săptămâni de muncă intensivă în școli și încă o etapă de campionat. Va începe și campionatul național, așa că multă adrenalină înainte de Crăciun :)

O privire rapidă la tabelă arată că echipa '96 este în fruntea tabelei de grup la campionatul regional, cu încă o etapă pe 15 decembrie. În campionatul Diapolo, după multe meciuri furtunoase și mișcări în tabelă, ei sunt pe locul 4 în grupa B cu trei meciuri câștigate.

”Cei mici”, în echipa care mulți au avut ”botezul de foc” la campionatul regional pentru grupa de vârstă 1999, câștigă experiență valoroasă, pe locul șase în grupa 1.

Toate cele bune cu pregătirile pentru ultimele câteva meciuri anul acesta, și ne vom întoarce cu știri și o retrospectivă despre anul acesta plin de evenimente. Și multă distracție în zăpadă, băieți!

Azon ritka hétvégék egyike, amely során nem voltak nagy utazások és sok meccsek, sok friss hóval azonban. Még egy pár nagyon intenzív suli hét következik az év végi hajrá közepette, és még egy bajnoksági forduló. Plusz elindul az országos bajnokság is, úgyhogy lesz bőven adrenalin Karácsony előtt.

A táblázatokra vetett gyors pillantás a '96-os csapatot mutatja a vidéki bajnokság csoport táblázat élén, december 15-ikén még egy fordulóval az évzárás előtt. A Diapolo bajnokságban három megnyert meccsel negyedik helyen vannak a B csoportban.

A "kicsik", akiknél soknak az 1999-es korcsoportú vidéki bajnokságban való résztvétel volt a "tűzkeresztség", valóban értékes tapasztalatokat szereznek, pillanatnyilag hatodikok az 1-es csoportban.

Minden jót az év végi hátralevő pár meccsre való felkészüléshez, és visszatérünk hírekkel majd egy összefoglalóval ezen eseménydús évről. És jó szórakozást a hóban, srácok!

Today began with a morning match where the young team in 1999 age group met the team from Szentes, Hungary in the regional championship.

It was expected to be a bumpy ride, but the team put up a solid fight, Szentes won 9-6 in a tight match where 3rd quarter was 4-2 for our lads then final quarter was 1-1, not recommended for heart ailments :)

Second match was another tough nut, against Dinamo Prosper Oradea. The match began on a very tight note, Oradea winning first quarter 4-3, but then they started to take solid lead, winning 18-4 in the end. Detailed notes can be found here.

The ”little ones” are now returning home, and we wish them an easy journey and salute them for their efforts and solid battles today!

The Junior II team plays in Budapest, at the Diapolo championship, and they met the team from Komarno that had a very good run and were second in the group table.

Just so that we have yet another match causing pulse rates to go through the roof even for supporters, it was an ultra-tense one with goals coming both sides in tight succession (3-3, 4-3, 3-4, 4-3 in quarters and 14-13 for Komarno). A truly superb battle until the very last seconds even, so congratulations lads!

Ziua a început cu un meci de dimineață, unde echipa tânără din grupa de vârstă 1999 a jucat cu Szentes, Ungaria, in campionatul regional.

Meciul a fost dificil cum era de așteptat, dar echipa s-a luptat frumos, Szentes câștigând 9-6 într-un meci strâns, unde în sfertul al treilea ai noștri au câștigat 4-2 apoi sfertul final era un tensionat 1-1, nerecomandat celor cu afecțiuni cardiace :)

Al doilea meci a fost tot unul greu, cu Dinamo Prosper Oradea. Aici am început pe o notă tot strânsă, Oradea câștigând primul sfert 4-3, dar apoi ei au luat mai categoric conducerea. Scorul final fiind 18-4 pentru ei. Notele detaliate se găsesc aici.

”Cei mici” acum se întorc acasă, le urăm călătorie plăcută și felicitări pentru eforturile de azi cu lupte solide!

Echipa de Juniori II joacă la Budapesta, la campionatul Diapolo cu echipa de la Komarno, care a progresat bine și erau pe locul doi în tabelă.

Ca să avem încă un meci care ridică pulsul chiar și pentru suporteri, acesta a fost unul ultra-strâns cu goluri care urmau rapid unul după altul (3-3, 4-3, 3-4, 4-3 în sferturi deci 14-13 pentru Komarno). O luptă chiar superbă până în ultimele secunde, felicitări băieți!

Pe toți îi așteaptă călătorii lungi și o zi de școală, dar urăm tuturor odihnă bine meritată și drum bun!

A nap egy reggeli meccsel indult, ahol az 1999-es fiatal csapatunk a magyar vidéki bajnokságban játszott Szentes csapatával.

A meccs nehéznek is ígérkezett, de szépen harcolt a csapat, Szentes 9-6-ra győzött egy olyan feszes mérkőzésben, ahol a harmadik negyedben a srácaink győztek 4-2-re, majd az utolsó negyed egy szívbajosoknak nem ajánlott 1-1 volt.

A második meccsük is kemény volt a Dinamo Prosper Nagyvárad ellen. Itt is szorosan indultunk, Várad az első negyedet 4-3-ra nyerve meg, de utána keményebben átvették a vezetést, 18-4-re győzve a végén. Részletes meccs jegyzeteket itt lehet találni.

A "kicsik" most indulnak haza és kívánunk nekik kellemes utazást és üdvözöljük őket a mai erőfeszítésért és szolid harcokért!

Az Ifi II-es csapat Pesten játszik a Diapolo bajnokságban, Komárom csapata ellen akik nagyon jól játszottak a bajnokságban és második helyen álltak a táblázatban.

Csak hogy ismét az egekig emelkedjen a pulzus még a szurkolóknak is, ez is ultra-feszes meccs volt, a gólok gyorsan követték egymást mindkét oldalon (3-3, 4-3, 3-4, 4-3 tehát 14-13 Komáromnak). Egy igazán szuper csata az utolsó másodpercekig is, gratulálunk srácok!

Mindenkire hosszú utazások várnak és suli holnap, de kívánunk jól megérdemelt pihenést és jó utat!
