A small note, as it connects very closely with the previous blog post...

It seems that, as we expressed the natural hope in that blog article, water polo competitions are indeed coming to Targu Mures outside the summer season, too...

The second round in the newly established water polo Transylvania Cup (which started in November last year) is to take place next weekend in our city, so apart from the fact that our younger team is playing several matches there, that weekend will hopefully exciting also for many local fans of water polo.

On top of this, also several stages of the national championship will take place this spring and summer in Targu Mures, weather and water temperatures no longer being a risk.

Thanks to everyone who made this possible and to all those who take active part in this exciting period in the city's sport life.

O mică notă care se leagă foarte bine cu precedentul articol de pe blog...

Se pare că, după cum am exprimat speranţe fireşti în articolul trecut, competiţii de polo pe apă din afara sezonului de vară chiar încep să vină la Târgu Mureş.

A doua etapă a Cupei Transilvania la polo, nou înfiinţat în noiembrie anul trecut, va avea loc în oraşul nostru în weekendul următor, deci pe lângă faptul că echipa noastră mai tânără va juca mai multe meciuri acolo, acel sfârşit de săptămână sperăm că va fi excitant şi pentru mulţi localnici dornici să vadă polo pe apă.

În plus, şi câteva etape ale campionatului naţional vor avea loc în primăvara şi vara anului acesta la Târgu Mureş, vremea şi temperatura apei nemaifiind un risc.

Mulţumiri tuturor care au făcut toate aceste posibile şi celor care joacă un rol activ în această perioadă excitantă din viaţa sportivă a oraşului.

Miután érthető reményeket fejeztünk ki a múlt cikkben, úgy tűnik, hogy vízilabda versenyek valóban Marosvásárhelyre jönnek a nyári szezonon kívül is.

A tavaly novemberben indult új bajnokság, a Transzilvánia Kupa második fordulója a következő hétvégén városunkba érkezik, így azon kívül, hogy fiatalabb csapatunk több meccset fog játszani ezen forduló keretében, a hétvége remélhetőleg sok helyi vízilabda kedvelő számára is izgalmas lesz.

Emellett az országos bajnokság több fordulója is tavasszal és nyáron Marosvásárhelyen lesz, az időjárás és a víz hőmérséklete már nem lesz rizikó faktor.

Így ismét köszönet mindenkinek, akik mindezt lehetővé tették, és azoknak is, akik a város sportéletének ezen izgalmas korszakában aktív szerepet játszanak.

School started again in mid-January and by now it gathered full pace :) Also, the city's new covered pool has gradually transitioned from its status of  'novelty' to something that is part of the city's everyday reality.

Hence Aquasport's players are again balancing the two important parts of their lives, studying and water polo, via something that we can only watch with quite a degree of respect, but they modestly refer to as daily routine. We wrote about their hard work in the past, but now the new pool brings a whole new world of possibilities for them and all water sports practitioners.

The pool's opening hours are 6AM to 10PM, with ample access for the public, too. So in this context, their routine contains currently around ten training sessions per week, with slight variations, but generally speaking this usually means two sessions per day.

So they start by 5:45AM with the first training session, then they switch from predominantly physical to mainly mental efforts at 8AM in classrooms, and in the evening they return to the pool for another intense rendez-vous with water polo.

The new possibilities offered by the pool are superb developments in their autumn-to-spring training regime that are very welcome considering the busy competition year that lies ahead.

One can't close this little note without mentioning also another very important dimension to what is now happening there: now the citizens of all ages in Targu Mures are able to see (or at least hear about) several sports clubs training there all year round on a daily basis, all of this rapidly becoming integral part of the city's everyday reality, as we also mentioned in the opening - and this will undoubtedly increase interest in watching or practicing these sports.

So one is perhaps nostalgic, but it is great to see that the revival of water sports in this city is truly under way - and many thanks to the athletes and coaches who, with their extremely hard work, having become genuine ambassadors of  these sports, are demonstrating to all onlookers what can be achieved through unlimited passion.

Școala a început la mijlocul lui ianuarie și deja se derulează în plină viteză :) Totodată, noul bazin acoperit se transformă treptat din noutate în ceva ce este o parte din realitatea cotidiană a orașului.

Așadar poloiștii clubului Aquasport iarăși balansează două elemente importante din viața lor, studiile și polo pe apă, prin ceva pe care noi putem să privim numai cu o doză bună de respect, dar pe care ei cu modestie o consideră rutină zilnică. Am mai scris în trecut despre munca lor intensă, dar acest bazin aduce multe noi posibilități pentru ei și pentru toți practicanții sporturilor acvatice.

Bazinul este deschis între 6 dimineața și 10 seara, cu amplu access și pentru public. Deci în acest context, programul lor conține acum cam zece antrenamente pe săptămână, cu mici variațiuni, dar în general aceasta înseamnă de obicei două antrenamente pe zi.

Deci ei încep la 5:45 dimineața cu primul antrenament, apoi comută de la activitatea predominant fizică la cea mentală la 8 dimineața în școli, apoi seara se întorc la bazin pentru încă o întâlnire intensă cu polo pe apă.

Noile posibilități oferite de bazin constituie superbe adăugiri la regimul lor de antrenament din afara sezonului de vară și acestea sunt extrem de binevenite considerând anul competițional foarte activ care îi așteaptă.

Nu putem să închidem această mică notă fără a spune că mai există și o altă dimensiune foarte importantă la ceea ce se petrece la acel bazin: acum mureșenii de toate vârstele pot să vadă (sau măcar să audă despre) mai multe cluburi antrenându-se acolo zilnic, pe parcursul întregului an - și acest fapt devine rapid o parte integrală a realității cotidiene mureșene, cum am amintit la început. Aceasta fără îndoială va stimula interesul lor pentru urmărirea sau practicarea aceste sporturi.

Deci poate că suntem nostalgici, dar este chiar superb să vedem că revitalizarea sporturilor pe apă în acest oraș este într-adevăr în plină desfășurare - cu multe mulțumiri sportivilor şi antrenorilor care, prin muncă intensă deveniți adevărați ambasadori ai acestor sporturi, demonstrează și spectatorilor locali ce se poate realiza prin nelimitată pasiune.

A suli ismét elkezdődött január közepén és most már teljes sebességgel zajlik :) Ugyanakkor az új fedett medence fokozatosan újdonságból a város hétköznapjainak mindennapos részévé alakul át.

Így az Aquasport pólósai ismét életük két fontos elemét, a tanulást és a vízilabdát helyezik egyensúlyba azzal, amit mi jó adag tisztelettel nézünk, de amit ők szerényen csak napi rutinnak tekintenek. Még írtunk kemény munkájukról a közelmúltban, de az új fedett medence teljesen új lehetőségeket teremt meg számukra és minden vízisportot művelő számára.

A medence reggel hattól este tízig van nyitva a közönség számára is. Így ebben a kontextusban, a programjuk átlag tíz edzésből áll hetente, kis változásokkal, de úgy általában ez a napok többségében két edzést jelent.

Reggel háromnegyed hatkor kezdik az első edzést, majd a többnyire fizikai tevékenységről átkapcsolnak túlnyomóan szellemire reggel nyolckor az osztálytermekben, és este visszatérnek a medencéhez még egy intenzív vízilabda randira.

A medence új lehetőségei nyári szezonon kívüli edzésprogramjukba nagyon pozitív változásokat hoznak és ezek rendkívül jól jönnek a sűrű versenynaptárt tekintve.

Ezen sorokat nem lehet anélkül zárni, hogy ne kerüljön említésre az e medencénél zajló fejlemények egy másik dimenziója is: most a város lakosai korosztálytól függetlenül láthatnak ott több klubot edzeni naponta és egész évben, vagy legalábbis hallhatnak minderről - ez pedig, mint említettük, a város mindennapos realitásának szerves részévé válik. Ez kétségtelenül megteremti és serkenti majd érdeklődésüket a vízisportok nézése vagy űzése iránt.

Így talán nosztalgikus megjegyzés, de valóban jó látni a városban a vízisportok teljes erővel folyó reneszánszát - sok köszönettel tartozva azoknak a sportolóknak és edzőknek akik, kemény munkával ezen sportok valóságos nagyköveteivé válva, a helybeli közönségnek is bemutatják mit lehet elérni határtalan passzióval.

This would have been a small and rather normal note about a few more updates to the blog content, more precisely on the page dedicated to the history of our hometown's water polo. 

However, the nature and source of the information used in these updates demand a very special mention here.

With both great joy and gratitude, we can mention that two genuine legends of international water polo, both originally from our hometown, got in touch via the blog email in the last few days - namely Gábor Nagy and János Bordy, expressing their joy of witnessing the revival of water polo in our town and also sent their warm greetings. 

They also kindly provided invaluable biographical information that we could now use on our history page, where we hope to build over time many profiles of our hometown's great water polo players.

The more detailed profiles can be read on that page in alphabetic order, but to mention here just a few highlights, both played in the Romanian national and Olympic teams, multiple national champions, and in the US, they both won the American championship several times, also having been for several years in the All-American Selection. 

On behalf of everyone at our young club, we again express our thanks for their special contribution to our little blog, a contribution that gave personal insights into their impressive and very inspirational career - and most certainly we would like to thank both for their warm wishes.

With the classic Hungarian phrasing that has still vivid echoes of the glory days of local water polo, relaying the recent motivating words of Gábor Nagy: "rá-rá-hajrá!" lads!

Acesta ar fi fost un articol mic şi cam normal despre câteva actualizări de conţinut, în particular pe pagina dedicată istoriei sportului în oraşul nostru natal.

Dar, considerând genul şi sursa informaţiilor adăugate recent pe acea pagină, această actualizare este una foarte specială.

Cu multă bucurie şi mulţumiri, putem menţiona că două legende internaţionale ale polo-ului pe apă, originari din oraşul nostru, ne-au contactat prin intermediul blogului în ultimele câteva zile - şi anume Gábor Nagy şi János Bordy.

Amândoi şi-au exprimat bucuria pentru revitalizarea sportului acesta în oraşul nostru, totodată dânşii au trimis calde urări.

Ne-au trimis şi informaţii biografice de mare valoare, pe care acum putem să folosim pe pagina de istorie, under sperăm că pe parcursul timpului construim multe profiluri ale marilor jucători din oraşul nostru.

Profilurile detaliate se pot citi pe acea pagină în ordine alfabetică, dar trebuie să menţionăm aici pe scurt, că amândoi au jucat în selecţionata naţională şi Olimpică a României, campioni naţionali multipli, şi în SUA amândoi au câştigat titlul de campion american de mai multe ori, jucând timp de mai mulţi ani şi în selecţionata All-American.

Din partea clubului nostru tânăr, dorim să exprimăm încă o dată mulţumirile noastre pentru contribuţia lor specială la blogul nostru, o contribuţie care dă o imagine personală despre cariera lor impresionantă şi inspiraţională - şi în special pentru urările lor calde la adresa clubului.

Cu fraza clasică, care are ecourile epocii de glorie al polo-ului pe apă din oraşul nostru, transmitem urarea  recentă a lui Gábor Nagy: "rá-rá-hajrá!" băieţi!

Ez egy kis és egyszerű bejegyzés lett volna a blog tartalmának frissítéséről, mégpedig a városunk vízilabda történetének szentelt oldalán megjelent adatokról.

De tekintve a frissen hozzátett információ jellegét és forrásait, ezen frissítés nagyon különleges említést érdemel.

Nagy örömmel és köszönettel említhetjük meg, hogy városunkban született, ragyogó sport karriert itt elindított és nemzetközi vízilabda legendává vált két személyiség a blogon keresztül kapcsolatba lépett az elmúlt pár napban - Nagy Gáborról és Bordy Jánosról van szó.

Mindketten kifejezték örömüket a város vízilabda reneszánszával kapcsolatban és jókívánságaikat küldik.

Rendkívül értékes információkkal is elláttak, amelyeket most a történeti oldalon felhasználtunk, itt reméljük az idő folyamán még sok helyi pólós legenda profilját építhetjük ki.

A részletes profilokat azon oldalon olvashatják ábécésorrendben, de pár kiemelt részletet említve életrajzukból: mindketten játszottak a román válogatottban és az olimpiai csapatban, többszörös országos bajnokok, és az Egyesült Államokban többször megnyerték az országos bajnokságot, ugyanakkor több évig az All-American válogatott tagjai is voltak.

Fiatal klubunk részéről ismételten szeretnénk köszönetünket kifejezni a blogunk tartalmához való hozzájárulásukért, ez személyes betekintést is nyújt kiemelkedő karrierjükbe, amely inspirációként is szolgál - és külön köszönet a jókívánságokért.

As mentioned in the previous blog post, it seems there will be plenty of action for the club's coach and players this year, too.

In addition to the continuing Diapolo championship in Budapest and the Hungarian regional championship, the other major tournament is of course the Romanian national championship, where both age groups' teams will take part.

This had its detailed calendar confirmed and announced very recently by the Romanian Water Polo federation, and for Aquasport's two teams it goes as follows:

• Junior II (those born in '95-'96):    
• Qualification rounds: 09-11 March and 11-13 May
• Final rounds with best 6 teams: 06-08.07 and 20-22.07
• Junior III (those born in '97-'98):   
• Qualification rounds: 25-27 May and 13-15 July
• Final rounds with best 6 teams: 03-05 August and 17-19 August

The places where the matches are going to be played are to be announced it seems by the end of this month.

Then on the more recently established competitions' front, Transylvania Cup (which was set up last year in water polo for the first time) also continues, its first stage having occurred in November, the dates for the next stages are to be announced.

Another new competition is the Masterplast Cup, which had its debut last year in April, and this year it is possible that Aquasport, too will take part.

Hence with the matches of the mentioned competitions keeping spring and summer very busy, there will be quite a number of opportunities for Aquasport's teams to play important matches - so, naturally, we wish everybody at the club the very best for this busy calendar.

Cum am menționat în articolul precedent, și anul acesta antrenorul și jucătorii clubului vor avea parte de multă acțiune... Pe lângă campionatul Diapolo de la Budapesta și cel regional din Ungaria, un alt turneu important va fi desigur campionatul național, unde vor participa ambele grupe de vârstă.

Calendarul detaliat al acestui campionat a fost anunțat recent de către Federația Română de Polo, și pentru cele două echipe ale clubului acesta arată astfel:

• Juniori II (cei născuți în '95-'96):
• Turnee de calificare: 09-11 martie și 11-13 mai 
• Turnee finale cu 6 echipe: 06-08 iulie și 20-22 iulie

• Juniori III (cei născuți în '97-'98):
• Turnee de calificare: 25-27 mai și 13-15 iulie 
• Turnee finale cu 6 echipe: 03-05 august și 17-19 august

Luna aceasta se vor anunța și locurile unde se vor juca meciurile.

În ceea ce privește competițiile care s-au lansat mai recent, Cupa Transilvania (care în polo pe apă a debutat anul trecut) continuă și ea, prima etapă s-a desfășurat in Noiembrie, datele etapelor viitoare urmează să fie anunțată.

O altă competiție este Cupa Masterplast, care a debutat anul trecut in aprilie, și anul acesta este posibil că și Aquasport va participa.

Deci cu meciurile de la competițiile menționate, primăvara și vara va fi foarte activă, și echipele clubului vor avea multe oportunități să joace meciuri importante – așa că în mod natural, urăm tuturor de la club toate cele bune pentru acest calendar dens.

Mint az ezelőtti blog cikkben is említettük, az idén is a klub edzője és játékosai számára akciódús idők várnak... A budapesti Diapolo és a magyar vidéki bajnokságon kívül egy fontos turné lesz természetesen a román országos bajnokság, ahol mindkét korcsoport csapata részt fog venni.

Ezen bajnokság részletes naptárát a Román Vízilabda Szövetség nemrég tette közzé, és a klub két csapata számára ez a következőket hozza:

• Junior II ('95-'96-ban születettek):
• Selejtező: március 09-11 és május 11-13
• Legjobb hat csapat: július 06-08 és július  20-22

• Junior III ('97-'98-ban születettek):

A közelmúltban alapított és indított bajnokságokkal kapcsolatban, a tavaly indult Transzilvánia Kupa is folytatódik, az első szakasza novemberben zajlott le, a következő fordulók adatait várhatóan a közeljövőben közlik.

A Masterplast Kupa szintén egy nemrég, pontosabban tavaly áprilisban indult verseny, amelyen az idén az Aquasport is valószínűleg részt vesz majd.

Így tehát az említett turnék meccsei a tavaszt és a nyarat nagyon eseménydússá teszik a klub csapatai számára, amelyeknek így sok alkalmuk lesz erejüket fontos meccseken kipróbálni – ezért természetesen a klubnak a lehető legeslegjobbakat kívánjuk a sűrű naptár elkövetkező periódusára.

After the tumultuous first week of the year, a quick peek into the present activities, status and what is coming on the horizon.

At the moment, to the great joy of everybody at the club, morning and afternoon training sessions at the new pool are under way. Preparations are intense, as a number of competitions and matches are awaiting the teams in the very near future.

On the 11 February, the regional championship continues with its fourth stage, so the club's younger team will play two matches again. The current table at this championship has Aquasport's lads on third place with 12 points, four matches out of six won in the first three rounds, with a goal difference of +18 at this point. The goalgetter statistics also make for an interesting reading, Aquasport having the honour of being listed at first and second place in the tables of goal scorers and action goal scorers, with 35 and 28 goals, respectively.

The older team playing at the Diapolo championship organised by the Budapest Water Polo Federation (BVLSZ) will have their next match on the 25 February at Budapest. As mentioned before, in this extremely tough competition they meet teams who directly supply players to the Hungarian national team, so we are undoubtedly looking at a continuation of high excitement at this championship...

They are currently in terms of accumulated points, with same 15 points as KSI SE. Table 3 shows the BVLSZ ranking based on points and number of scored goals. Table 4 has the ranking based on goal difference (KSI SE having a higher one). Full details are available at the BVLSZ homepage.

In addition to these, the Romanian national championship is coming and also there is the Transylvania Cup, latter for the younger team. So one extends best wishes for the future, together with warm congratulations for the performances.

După prima săptămână tumultuoasă a anului, o mică privire la activitățile și datele curente, și ceea ce ne așteaptă în viitorul apropiat.

În prezent, spre marea bucurie a tuturor de la club, antrenamentele în bazinul nou acoperit se desfășoară în plină forță. Pregătirile sunt intense, pentru că mai multe campionate și meciuri îi așteaptă pe echipele clubului.

Pe data de 11 februarie, campionatul regional continuă cu etapa a patra pentru echipa mai tânără, care va juca două meciuri. Tabelul curent al campionatului (vedeți mai sus Tabela No.1) îi are pe băieți pe locul trei cu 12 puncte, patru meciuri câștigate din cele șase jucate în primele trei etape, cu o diferență de goluri de +18. Tabela golghetterilor este tot una interesantă, Aquasport având onoarea de a fi listată pe locul întâi și doi pe tabela de goluri și respectiv pe cea de goluri de acțiune, cu 35 şi 28 de goluri (vedeți Tabela 2 mai sus).

Echipa mai în vârstă care joacă la campionatul Diapolo, organizat de Federația de Polo pe Apă din Budapesta (BVLSZ) va avea următorul meci pe 25 februarie la Budapesta. Cum am mai menționat, în cadrul acestui campionat dificil ei întâlnesc echipe care furnizează direct jucători în naționala Ungariei, deci fără dubii vom continua să avem meciuri excitante.

În momentul de față, ei au același număr de 15 puncte ca şi KSI SE, pe Tabela 3 BVLSZ arătând lista bazată pe puncte şi număr de goluri marcate, Aquasport fiind pe locul patru, iar în Tabela 4 ei arată lista în ordinea punctelor şi diferenţei de goluri (KSI SE aici clasându-se în faţă). Mai urmează meciuri la Cupa Transilvania pentru echipa mai tânără, și vine campionatul național. Urăm toate cele bune pentru viitor, împreună cu felicitări meritate pentru performanțe.

Az év első mozgalmas hete után, egy apró pillantást vetünk a jelen tevékenységre és bajnoksági állásokra, majd a közeljövőben sorra kerülő eseményekre.

Jelenleg, a klub nagy örömére, az új fedett medencében teljes erővel zajlanak az edzések. A felkészülés egészen intenzív, mivel több bajnokság és meccs várja a csapatokat.

Február 11-ikén a vidéki bajnokság folytatódik a negyedik fordulóval a fiatalabb korcsoportban, ezen csapat ismét két meccset fog játszani.A bajnokság táblázatában (a fenti 1-es számú tabellán) jelen pillanatban a srácok harmadik helyen állnak 12 ponttal, négy meccset nyerve meg a hatból az elmúlt három fordulóban, +18-as gólkülönbséggel. A góllövők listája is érdekes, mivel Aquasport-ot az a megtiszteltetés érte, hogy első illetve második helyen szerepel a góllövők illetve akciógóllövők táblázataiban 35 illetve 28 góllal (mint fenti 2-es számú tabella mutatja).

Az idősebb korcsoport csapata a Budapesti Vízilabda Szövetség által szervezett Diapolo bajnokságban játszik meccset február 25-ikén Budapesten. Mint említettük korábban, ezen nehéz bajnokságban olyan csapatokkal is mérkőznek meg, amelyek a magyar válogatott utánpotlási csapatai.Így kétségtelenül még sok izgalomban lesz részünk.

Pillanatnyilag lőtt gólok száma szerint negyedik helyen állnak 15 ponttal, tehát egyenlő a pontszámuk a KSI SE-vel, de utóbbinak magasabb a gólaránya, mint a fenti 3-as számú tabellán is lehet látni. A BVLSZ pontok és gólarány szerinti rangsorolását a 4-es számú táblázat mutatja, ahol a KSI SE gólaránya érvényesül. Részletes adatok a BVLSZ honlapján találhatóak.

Ugyanakkor következik még a Transzilvánia Kupa is a fiatalabb korcsoportban, és a román országos bajnokság is. Így nagyon sok sikert kívánunk és ugyanakkor megérdemelt gratulációk is a klub csapatainak.

As the smoke slowly cleared :-) around the computer that has been processing all the photo materials from recent days, some housekeeping also happened.

So this is just a little admin note about the revamped and added comment on the blog...

The three new albums from the pool's opening ceremony & match and those of the first and second training sessions in the new pool have been added to our Photo page now.

Profiles have now been posted, still under construction as we gather more information from the lads and we add more action shots, too - but all the current data is visible at the Profiles page of the blog.

The new pool received huge local and national media attention, so many articles, including those that write about Aquasport's match at the opening ceremony, are linked at the Press page of the blog.

The history water polo in our hometown has received a few additions, thanks to readers who commented, these are on the History page of the blog.

Thanks to all the contributions and comments, much appreciated and we shall keep you up-to-date as before with all the events in our life.

După ce fumul s-a risipit treptat :-) în jurul calculatorului care procesa grămada de poze din zilele trecute, am terminat și un pic de muncă casnică...

Deci o mică notă despre conținutul actualizat și adăugat pe blogul acesta...

Cele trei albume despre ceremonia și meciul de deschidere a noului bazin, primul și al doilea antrenament ținut acolo au fost adăugate la pagina de poze (Photos) de pe blog.

Am adăugat informații și poze la profiluri, aflat încă sub construcție în timp ce mai colectăm informații de la băieți și adăugăm poze de acțiune - toate datele culese până acum sunt vizibile pe pagina de profiluri (Profiles).

Noul bazin s-a bucurat de enormă atenție în mass-media, deci multe articole, inclusiv cele care scriu despre meciul Aquasport la ceremonia de deschidere, au fost adăugate la pagina de presă (Press).

Istoria polo-ului în orașul nostru a  fost completat cu câteva informații, mulțumim pentru cititorii care au comentat și furnizat acestea - acum sunt vizibile pe pagina de istorie (History). 

Mulțumim la toți contribuitorii și la cei care au comentat, apreciem foarte mult, și vă vom ține la curent ca de obicei despre evenimentele din viața noastră.

Miután eloszlott a füst :-) az elmúlt napok tömérdek fotóját feldolgozó számítógép körül, kis háztartási munka is sorra kerülhetett.

Az új medence megnyitójáról (és a meccsről), plusz az első és második ott tartott edzésről készült albumok most a blog fotó (Photos) oldalára is be lettek kötve.

A profilokat kitöltöttük információval, még építkezés alatt állnak miközben begyűjtünk még adatokat a srácoktól és még felteszünk akció fotókat is, de minden rendelkezésre álló infó a blog profil (Profiles) oldalán van most.

Az új medencét nagy figyelemmel követte a média is, így sok cikket, beleértve az Aquasport megnyitó meccséről szólóakat is, a blog sajtó (Press) oldalára bekötöttünk.

A vízilabda városunkbeli történetét kibővítettük még adatokkal, köszönet olvasóinknak a beküldött információkért, ezek is most a blog történelem (History) oldalán olvashatóak.

Köszönet mindazoknak, akik tartalommal járultak mindehhez hozzá, és napirenden tartjuk majd olvasóinkat életünk eseményeiről.

Another day at the regional championship ● O nouă zi la campionatele regionale ● Ismét egy nap a területi bajnokságon

After the opening ceremony of the new pool (as described in previous blog posts), the younger team set off on Friday morning to the Hungarian city of  Békéscsaba . Here they played today two matches at the regional championship.

The first match was with the so far unbeaten Csabai Csirkefogók Water Polo club, and this match began with with Aquasport dominating 3-1. The game became one of many twists and turns, as 2nd quarter was won by Csabai Csirkefogók (1-3), then Aquasport won 3rd quarter 4-3. Their opponents turned the table again in the final quarter, winning 2-4 and with an overall score of 10-11 against Aquasport (detailed stats are here). Splendid effort by our lads, also considering their opponents' track record and the fact that they played in their home town.

The following match was with the water polo club from Zemplén, Hungary (Zempléni Vízilabda Club),. Aquasport dominated more clearly here, the quarters having had the scores 3-2, 4-1, 4-6 and 2-0 for Aquasport, the final score having been 13-9 for our lads. This keeps them with 12 points at 3rd place in the championship where a total of 8 teams are playing, so far having won 4 out of 6 matches.

As usual by now, as these lines are written, they are on their way home, so they'll have Sunday to reflect on the events of the last week that included a few forever memorable ones. Congratulations to the team for today's performance and have a safe journey home.

După ceremonia de deschidere a noului bazin (cum am descris în articole precedente), echipa mai tânără a pornit la drum vineri dimineaţa spre oraşul  Békéscsaba din Ungaria, unde au jucat astăzi două meciuri la campionatul regional.

Primul meci a fost jucat cu clubul Csabai Csirkefogók, care a fost neînvins până azi la acest campionat. Acest meci a început cu Aquasport dominând cu 3-1, dar jocul a devenit unul cu multe întorsături. Sfertul al doilea a fost câştigat de Csabai Csirkefogók (1-3), apoi Aquasport i-a învins in sfertul al treilea cu 4-3. În ultimul sfert, adversarii lor au întors situaţia, câştigând sfertul cu 2-4 şi meciul cu scorul final de 10-11 în favoarea lor (statistici detaliate sunt aici). Un efort splendid de la băieţii noştri, considerând şi performanţele adversarilor şi că aceştia au jucat acasă.

Următorul meci a fost cu clubul de la Zemplén. Aquasport a dominat mai clar aici, sferturile având scorurile de 3-2, 4-1, 4-6 şi 2-0 pentru Aquasport, scorul final fiind 13-9  pentru băieţii noştri. Statisticile detaliat se pot vedea aici.

Aceasta menţine echipa cu 12 puncte pe locul trei în campionat, unde joacă 8 echipe în total, până acum au câştigat 4 din 6 meciuri.

Ca de obicei, în timp ce se scriu aceste rânduri, ei sunt pe drumul spre casă, deci vor avea la dispoziţie ziua de duminică pentru reflecţii despre evenimentele acestei săptămâni, dintre care unele vor rămâne pe veci în amintirea lor. Felicitări încă o dată echipei pentru performanţa de astăzi şi dorim tuturor o călătorie plăcută.

A blogon az elmúlt napokban leírt medence megnyitó ünnepség után a klub fiatalabb csapata Békéscsaba fele indult péntek reggel, ahol ma a területi bajnokság keretében két meccset játszottak.

Az első mérkőzés a Csabai Csirkefogók Vízilabda Klub ellen volt, akik eddig veretlenek voltak a bajnokságon. Ez a meccs Aquasport fölényével indult, az első negyedet 3-1-re nyerték. Ezután a meccs nagyon fordulékonnyá vált, második negyedben Csabai Csirkefogók győztek (1-3), majd ismét Aquasport nyerte a harmadik negyedet 4-3-ra. Ellenfeleik ismét fordítottak a meccsen, a negyedik negyedet 2-4-re és a meccset így 10-11-re nyerve (részletes statisztikák itt vannak). Nagyon szép erőfeszítés volt Aquasport srácai részéről, tekintve ellenfeleik statisztikáit és hogy otthon játszottak.

A második meccs a Zempléni Vízilabda Klubbal került sorra, itt Aquasport dominált, a negyedekben az eredmény 3-2, 4-1, 4-6 és 2-0 volt a srácaink javára, a meccset 13-9-re nyerve így meg. A meccs részletes statisztikáit itt lehet látni.

Ezzel a csapat a harmadik helyet megtartja a bajnokságon 12 ponttal, ahol összesen nyolc csapat játszik, eddig hat meccsből négyet nyerve meg.

Immár szokás szerint, miközben ezen sorok íródnak, a csapat útban van hazafele, így vasárnap majd az elmúlt hét eseményeire gondolhatnak vissza, és ezek között van olyan is, amely mindörökké megmarad emlékezetükben. Ismételt gratuláció a teljesítményért és kellemes, biztonságos utat kívánunk mindenkinek.

Cum am promis, revenim cu un album mult extins (mai mult decât dublat) şi mai şlefuit despre ceremonia de deschidere a noului bazin acoperit, care se poate vedea aici. Meciul a fost jucat cu Honvéd Budapesta, care a avut amabilitatea sa vină la deschiderea acestei noi baze de sport acvatic.

Link-uri vor fi adăugate şi la pagina noastră de poze, după ce actualizăm şi celelalte albume despre antrenamentele care au precedat ceremonia.

Mulţumim încă o dată tuturor care au făcut acest eveniment posibil şi celor care au venit la ceremonie.

The new covered pool's opening ceremony took place yesterday afternoon.  The event was marked by the opening speech of Dorin Florea, the city's Mayor, and the friendly matches between Dinamo Bucharest and Crisul Oradea, followed by Honved Budapest and Aquasport, then two teams of Torpi Tirgu Mures.

Huge thanks to all who made all this possible, and to all those who came to the event - it truly opens a new era in the city's water sports.

Special thanks to our guests, Honved Budapest for coming to the event. The exciting match was won by Aquasport with 14-5, and the first small selection of pictures are posted in this album.

Ceremonia de deschidere a noului bazin acoperit a avut loc ieri după-masă. Evenimentul a fost marcat de cuvintele D-lui primar Dorin Florea, urmat de meciurile amicale între Dinamo București și Crișul Oradea, Honved Budapesta și Aquasport, și două echipe ale clubului Torpi Tîrgu Mureș.

Multe mulțumiri sincere la adresa tuturor care au făcut acest lucru posibil și la toți care au venit la evenimentul care chiar marchează începutul unei noi ere in sporturile pe apă din orașul nostru.

Mulțumiri speciale pentru Honved Budapesta, care au venit la eveniment. Meciul excitant a fost câștigat de Aquasport cu 14-5, prima selecție mică de imagini se poate vedea în acest album.

Az új fedett medence megnyitójára tegnap délután került sor. Az esemény fénypontjai a város polgármesterének, Dorin Florea úrnak megnyitó beszéde, az ezt követő Dinamo Bukarest és Crișul Oradea, majd Honvéd Budapest és Aquasport, és helyi Torpi klub két csapata közötti barátságos meccsek voltak.

Mély köszönet mindazoknak, akik ezt lehetővé tették és mindenkinek aki eljött a nagy eseményre, amely valóban a város vizisportjaiban új korszakot nyitott.

Today is the grand opening of the new pool - but the club, with much gratitude, gained access to the pool last night and this morning for training sessions. Esteemed guests, Budapest Honved's junior team also arrived and joined Aquasport in both training sessions.

The first admittedly very 'crude' set of pictures, without anz polishing, have been posted at the following links, so that as much as possible from these first moments can be put online. Pictures from the ceremony this afternoon and a 'polished' set will be posted as soon as possible.

Deschiderea festivă a bazinului nou este astăzi, dar cu multe mulțumiri, clubul a avut acces la bazin înainte de marele eveniment și a ținut două antrenamente ieri seară și azi dimineață. Stimații oaspeți, echipa de juniori Honved Budapesta, au sosit și au ținut antrenamente împreună cu Aquasport.

Primele imagini foarte crude au fost încărcate la următoarele două linkuri, fără șlefuiri deocamdată, pentru a oferi imagini de la aceste prime momente cât mai repede. Set mai complet și procesat va fi pus pe net împreună cu pozele de la deschiderea festivă, sperăm cât mai curând.

Az új medence megnyitó ünnepsége ma délután lesz, de a klub, sok köszönettel nyugtázva, már hozzáférhetett a medencéhez egy tegnap esti és ma reggeli edzéshez. Tisztelt vendégeink, a Honvéd Budapest csapata is megérkezett és az Aquasport-tal együtt edzettek.

Az első képek bevallottan nyers formában felkerültek gyorsan az alábbi két albumba, hogy az első pillanatokat a neten hozzáférhetővé tegyük, a nagyon közeli jövőben pedig visszatérünk csiszoltabb albumokkal, beleértve a megnyitó képeit is.

The first week ● Prima săptămână ● Az első hét

The first week of the new year has already quite a few noteworthy events for the club.

Although everybody enjoyed the festive season, during this winter holiday period the teams have also continued their training regime with early morning sessions, so that they could start an important first week of January in a well-prepared manner.

The first event of this week is promising to be, in many ways, a very memorable one. The covering of the Olympic-size swimming pool has been completed, and the magnificent structure, the first of its kind in the country, is a remarkable sight, as a few shots on this page show.

It opens possibilities that were never before available to water sports' practitioners in the entire history of the city. Therefore, with huge thanks to everybody who made this vast project possible in our city, we are truly delighted to mention that the covered pool's festive opening is scheduled for 5 January.

Aquasport, too will have the great honour of entering the pool during the opening ceremony for festive friendly matches, and one can imagine the thrill with which the lads await this event - not to say that the club's grownups are experiencing any less excitement :)...

After this landmark moment, the younger team sets off to Hungary on the 6 January, and they will play two matches on the following day in the regional championship.

Prima săptămână a anului nou are deja câteva evenimente notabile pentru club.

Cu toate că toți am petrecut plăcut sărbătorile, echipele au continuat și antrenamentele de dimineață în timpul vacanței de iarnă pentru a începe această importantă săptămână bine pregătiți.

Primul eveniment al săptămânii promite a fi unul extrem de memorabil din mai multe privințe. Acoperirea bazinului olimpic a fost terminată, și structura superbă, prima de acest gen din țară, este o priveliște remarcabilă, cum demonstrează și câteva poze de pe această pagină.

Aceasta creează posibilități pentru practicanții sporturilor acvatice care nu au existat niciodată in istoria orașului nostru. Deci, cu enorme mulțumiri la adresa tuturor care au făcut acest proiect imens posibil in orașul nostru, suntem încântați să menționăm că piscina se deschide festiv pe data de 5 ianuarie.

Și Aquasport va avea onoarea de a intra în apă, pentru meciuri amicale festive, în timpul festivității de deschidere - deci se poate imagine bucuria cu care băieții așteaptă acest eveniment, dar asta nu înseamnă că adulții sunt mai puțin incântați :)...

După acest eveniment de marcă, echipa mai tânără pleacă in Ungaria pe data de 6 ianuarie, pentru a juca două meciuri în cadrul campionatului regional în ziua următoare.

Dorim tuturor un început de an superb și promitem să revenim ca de obicei pe acest blog cu știri despre această primă săptămână plină de evenimente.

Az újév első hete már egy pár említésre érdemes eseménnyel köszönt be.

Miközben az ünnepeket kellemesen töltöttük, a vakációban a reggeli edzések is folytatódtak azért, hogy a klub ezen fontos hetet megfelelő felkészültségi szinttel kezdje.

A hét első eseménye több szempontból nagyon emlékezetes lesz. Az olimpiai méretű medence befedése elkészült, és a struktúra, amely típusát tekintve az első az országban, lenyűgöző látványt nyújt, mint pár fotó is mutatja.

Ez a vízisportok számára a város történetében eddig nem létezett lehetőségeket teremt meg. Rendkívül köszönjük mindazoknak, akik ezt a hatalmas projektet megvalósították, és örömmel említhetjük, hogy a medence ünnepi keretek között január ötödikén nyílik meg.

Az Aquasport-nak is megadatik az a tisztesség, hogy vízbe szállhat a megnyitó barátságos mérkőzései keretében, tehat el lehet képzelni milyen örömmel várják a srácok az eseményt - nem mintha a klub felnőtteinek ujjongása mérsékeltebb lenne :)...

Ezt követően, január hatodikán a fiatalabb csapat Magyarországra utazik, ahol két meccset játszanak szombaton a területi bajnokság keretében.

Mindenkinek kívánunk szuper évkezdést és ígérjük, hogy szokásos módon visszatérünk újabb tudósításokkal ezen blogon.
