Mica relatare despre evenimentele weekendului trecut, publicat prima dată aici duminica trecută, a fost acceptată şi de către canalul media Youth1.com, dedicat în întregime sportului de tineret. Articolul, după cum se vede şi în imaginea de sus, a ajuns şi pe pagina principală a secţiunii "Alte sporturi".

Acesta este al treilea articol (întitulat "Aquasport polo pe apă - un weekend memorabil") despre Aquasport acceptat şi publicat de către ei, deci sincere mulţumiri la adresa lor pentru că urmăresc cu interes viaţa clubului pe paginile lor de ştiri. It was one of those weekends that mere statistics can only describe tiny parts of... This little blog post can hardly claim to achieve much more, but we would still like to try and give a little insight into the last few days' events.

If we stick to numbers, then one can say that the Aquasport had three away matches in two days and in two different countries, two age groups' teams playing in two different championships - and won two matches.

As always, reality is richer than numbers :-)

As we mentioned in the previous blog post, the lads departed from home on Friday after school, traveled via Oradea to Hungary, where on Saturday at Szaszhalombatta the first match was to take place in the Diapolo Championship with the respectable Bokay-KSI (a club that won, for example, the Danube Cup last year).

Aquasport's older players (born in 1995 or later) won this match with the score of 11-6, so the first round of congratulations were due.

After the match they set out on another journey, coming back to the Transylvanian city of Oradea, where on Sunday the next two matches were to be played by the younger team in the Transylvania Cup. Hence from victors, the older players have transformed themselves into passionate supporters for their younger mates.

The two matches were with the two excellent teams, Crisul and Dinamo Oradea, who we can also thank for the thrills of an amazing weekend.

The first match was won by Crisul Oradea with the final score of 6-4 after a superbly tense game, for example Aquasport was leading in the 3rd quarter 4-2.

Shortly after this first encounter, the second match with Dinamo Oradea proved to be also very tense and tight, Aquasport winning this match with the final score of 9-8.

Therefore a sincere second round of congratulations go out to the entire club, with many thanks for keeping spectators and supporters (both those present on location and those at some distance) on the edge of their real or metaphorical seat for the entire weekend :-)

Wishing everybody a very safe journey home, a well deserved rest and repeated thanks to them and their opponents for a fantastically exciting weekend.

A fost un sfârşit de săptămână care poate fi descris numai foarte parţial de către statistici... Acest mic articol nu poate pretinde că va fi capabil de mult mai mult, dar am dori totuşi să descriem un pic evenimentele acestor câteva zile.

Dacă rămânem la numere, atunci putem spune că Aquasport a avut trei meciuri în deplasare pe parcursul a două zile în două ţări diferite, cu echipele ambelor grupe de vârstă jucând în cadrul a două campionate diferite - şi au câştigat două meciuri.

Dar ca întotdeauna, realitatea este mai bogată decât ceea ce numerele pot să descrie :-)

Cum am menţionat în articolul trecut, băieţii au plecat vineri după şcoală via Oradea spre Ungaria, unde primul meci avea să aibă loc sâmbătă în cadrul campionatului Diapolo la Szaszhalombatta cu respectabila echipă a clubului Bokay-KSI (care de exemplu a câştigat Cupa Dunărea anul trecut).

Jucătorii mai în vârstă (născuţi în 1995 sau după) au câştigat meciul cu scorul de 11-6, deci prima rundă de felicitări era la ordinea zilei

După meci au venit înapoi la Oradea, unde duminică echipa mai tânără urma să joace două meciuri în cadrul Cupei Transilvania. Aşa că jucătorii mai în vârstă s-au transformat din poloişti victorioşi în suporteri pasionaţi ai celor mai tineri.

Cele două meciuri s-au jucat cu două echipe superbe, Crişul şi Dinamo Oradea, şi li se cuvin mulţumiri pentru weekendul excitant.

Primul meci a fost câştigat de Crişul Oradea cu scorul de 6-4 după un joc superb de tens (de exemplu, în  sfertul al treilea Aquasport conducea cu 4-2).

Scurt după primul meci, a doua întâlnire, de data aceasta cu Dinamo Oradea, a fost la fel de tensionată, Aquasport câştigând meciul cu scorul final de 9-8.

Deci a doua rundă de sincere felicitări se cuvine la adresa clubului, cu multe mulţumiri pentru că au reuşit să ţină spectatorii şi suporterii (cei prezenţi şi cei la distanţă) tensionaţi pe marginea scaunelor, la mod propriu sau figurat... pe durata întregului weekend  :-)...

Urăm tuturor călătorie plăcută spre casă, o odihnă plăcută şi bine meritată - şi incă o dată mulţumiri la adresa lor şi a adversarilor pentru un weekend fantastic de excitant.

Azon hétvégék egyike volt, amelyet csupán statisztikák képtelenek leírni... Ezen kis blog cikk nem állítja magáról, hogy sokkal többre képes, de mégis kis betekintést szeretne nyújtani az elmúlt pár nap eseményeibe.

Ha a számoknál maradunk, akkor elmondhatjuk, hogy az Aquasport klubnak három idegenben játszott meccse volt két országban két nap alatt, mindkét korcsoport csapata játszott két különböző bajnokság keretében és két meccset megnyert.

De mint mindig, a valóság a számoknál sokkal színesebb...

Mint említettük az előző blog cikkben, a srácok pénteken indultak el Nagyváradon keresztül Magyarország fele, ahol az első meccs következett szombaton a Diapolo bajnokság keretében Szászhalombattán a tiszteletreméltó Bókay-KSI csapatával (a klub például a tavalyi Duna Kupa győztese volt).

Az idősebb korcsoport játékosai (akik 1995-ben vagy később születtek) a meccset 11-6-re nyerték, így az első kiadós adag gratuláció kerülhetett sorra.

A meccs után ismét útra keltek, ezúttal vissza Nagyváradra, ahol a fiatalabb csapatra vasárnap két meccs várt a Transzilvánia Kupa keretében. Így az idősebb játékosok győztesekből átalakították magukat  szenvedélyes drukkerekké.

A két meccset a kitűnő nagyváradi Crişul és Dinamo csapatok ellen játszották, nekik is köszönet jár egy fantasztikusan izgalmas hétvégéért.

Az első meccset a Crişul nyerte 6-4-re egy szuper feszes játék során (például az Aquasport a harmadik negyedben vezetett 4-2-re).

Röviddel ezen meccs után következett a Dinamo-val a játszma, amely hasonlóan izgalmas volt, Aquasport ezt 9-8-ra nyerte.

Így második adag gratuláció is jár a klubnak, ugyanakkor sok köszönet azért is, hogy ezen hétvége folyamán a nézőket és ott vagy távolban drukkoló szurkolókat szó szerint (vagy képletesen szólva) a székeik szélén tartották az izgalomtól...

Kívánunk mindenkinek jó utat hazafele, kellemes és nagyon megérdemelt pihenést - és ismételten köszönjük  nekik és ellenfeleiknek ezen izgalmas hétvége élményeit.

The weekend is promising to be a particularly busy one for the club as both age group’s teams are having away games at different locations and at different championships, which also bring a more complex travel plan.

The older players are playing at the Diapolo Championship, meeting Bokay-KSI on Saturday in Hungary at Szaszhalombatta, hence they departed from home already on Friday after school.

The younger team has two matches on Sunday, in the town of Oradea, where they play in the newly established Transylvania Water Polo Cup, which had its debut on 20 November.

Hence everybody should be back home by Sunday night, and with the multiple travels and championships under way this weekend, we are of course wishing everybody young and old(er) :-) a very successful weekend and smooth trips.

Weekendul care urmează promite a fi unul excepțional de activ pentru club, fiindcă echipele ambelor grupe de vârstă vor participa la meciuri în deplasare la două campionate diferite în două orașe, acest fapt înseamnă și un plan de călătorii mai complicat.

Jucătorii mai în vârstă vor juca la campionatul Diapolo, întâlnind echipa Bokay-KSI în ziua de sâmbătă în Ungaria la Szaszhalombatta, deci pornirea la drum a fost vineri după școală.

Echipa mai tânără are doua meciuri duminică la Oradea, under vor juca in noul campionat de polo pe apă Cupa Transilvania, care a început pe 20 Noiembrie.

Deci până duminică seară, toți vor ajunge acasă, și cu multiplele călătorii și campionate în weekendul acesta, desigur urăm tuturor celor tineri și (mai) în vârstă :-) mult succes și călătorii plăcute.

A hétvége különösen telítettnek ígérkezik a klub számára, mivel mindkét korcsoport csapata idegenben játszik két különböző bajnokságban és két különböző helyszínen – ez a szokásosnál komplikáltabb útiterveket is jelent.

Az idősebb csapat a Diapolo bajnokságon játszanak szombaton a Bokay-KSI csapata ellen Szászhalombattán, így már pénteken volt az indulás suli után.

A fiatalabb korcsoport csapata két meccset játszik vasárnap Nagyváradon az újonnan létrehozott vízilabda Transzilvánia Kupa keretében, amely November 20-ikán indult.

Vasárnap estére mindenki hazaérne, így többszörös bajnokságokkal és utazásokkal a hétvége programjában, kívánunk minden fiatalnak és idős(ebb)nek :-) nagyon sikeres hétvégét és kellemes utazást.

Numai o mică notă rapidă despre faptul că am primit poze noi despre campionatul Diapolo și despre primul weekend de la campionatele regionale din Ungaria.

Ez mindössze egy gyors és apró bejegyzés arról, hogy köszönettel kaptunk új fotókat a magyarországi Diapolo bajnokságról és a területi bajnokság első hétvégéjéről.

First day at the regional championship ● Prima zi la campionatul regional ● Első nap a területi bajnokságon

The regional championship for the younger Aquasport team has begun today, at Bekescsaba in Hungary, with two consecutive matches. The players departed from home Friday afternoon.

First match was with AQUA Sportegyesület (Nyíregyháza, Hungary), which turned out to be very tight one just to keep adrenaline levels and heartrate high even for the spectators, ending with the score 14-11 for AQUA (3-2, 6-5, 4-3, 1-1). The second match against Sugovica Vízilabda Sportegyesület followed in less than two hours, so the lads recharged their batteries in their usual enviable fashion and got into the pool once again. Aquasport finished the day on a victorious note, clearly dominating the match with a final score of 22-8 in their favour (7-0, 6-5, 5-1, 4-2). So huge congratulations to the lads and their coach, Csaba Gagyi - and as they are returning home while this blog entry is being written, we are wishing them a very safe and pleasant journey home.

Campionatul regional la Bekescsaba, Ungaria a început azi cu două meciuri programate pentru echipa mai tânără al clubului Aquasport. Jucătorii au plecat la competiţie vineri.

Primul meci a fost cu AQUA Sportegyesület Nyíregyháza, şi s-a dovedit a fi unul foarte tensionat, care a ridicat chiar şi la spectatori nivelul de adrenalină şi pulsul, terminându-se cu scorul de 14-11 în favoarea echipei AQUA Nyíregyháza (3-2, 6-5, 4-3, 1-1). Statisticile detaliate ale meciului se pot găsi pe paginile Federaţiei Ungare de Polo pe Apă, link-ul direct fiind acesta. 

Al doilea meci a fost împotriva echipei Sugovica Vízilabda Sportegyesület, aceasta având loc la mai puţin de două ore după primul meci, așa că băieții și-au reîncărcat bateriile în modul lor demn de invidiat și au intrat încă o dată în bazin. Aquasport a încheiat ziua pe o notă victorioasă, dominând meciul pe care l-au câștigat cu un scor final de 22-8 (7-0, 6-5, 5-1, 4-2). Deci multe felicitări ca de obicei pentru băieţi şi antrenorul Csaba Gagyi - şi fiindcă ei sunt pe drum spre casă în timp ce aceste rânduri sunt scrise pe blog, îi urăm şi o călătorie plăcută.

A területi bajnokság ma két meccsel kezdődött Békéscsabán az Aquasport fiatalabb csapata számára. A játékosok pénteken indultak el otthonról.

Az első meccs az AQUA Sportegyesület Nyíregyháza csapatával volt - ez nagyon szorosra sikerült, így még a nézőknél is biztosított magas adrenalin szintet és gyors pulzust. Az eredmény végül 14-11 lett az AQUA javára (3-2, 6-5, 4-3, 1-1). A meccs részletes statisztikái a Magyar Vízilabda Szövetség (MVLSZ) honlapján találhatóak, közvetlen linket is ezúttal megadunk.

A második meccs kevesebb mint két órával később következett a Sugovica Vízilabda Sportegyesület csapatával, így a srácok úgymond újratöltötték energiaforrásaikat a szokásos irigylésre méltó módon és ismét vízbe szálltak. Az Aquasport győzelemmel zárta a napot, dominálva a meccset, így az eredmény 22-8 volt javukra (7-0, 6-5, 5-1, 4-2). More news about the pool ● Noi ştiri despre bazin ● Újabb hírek a medencéről

It seems local press can sometimes be, to put it mildly, inaccurate. Fresh news about the progress of the much anticipated works on the pool that is to become the main training base show that by early december it would be completed.

Then the gradual process of heating up the water begins, and it is expected that by mid-December there can be activity, followed by a public opening probably by 20 December or so. This is considerably better news... and we hope things progress as expected.

Se pare că presa locală poate fi uneori cam imprecisă. Ştiri proaspete, după articolul la care am pus link ieri, despre progresul lucrărilor la mult aşteptatul bazin care va deveni baza principală de antrenament arată că deja la începutul lunii decembrie se aşteaptă terminarea construcţiei.

Apoi urmează procesul de încălzire treptată a apei, şi se aşteaptă că la mijlocul lui decembrie se poate activa în bazin, deschiderea publică poate urma până pe la 20 decembrie. Deci... ştiri mult mai îmbucurătoare şi sperăm totul progresează bine în continuare. 

Úgy tűnik, néha a helyi sajtó nem a legpontosabb... A tegnap linkelt cikk utáni frissebb hírek azt mutatják, hogy a fő edzőbázissá váló medence munkálatainak befejezése már december elejére várható.

Ezt követné a víz fokozatos felmelegítése és december közepén már tevékenykedni lehetne a medencében, a megnyitóra is sor kerülhet huszadika körül. Ez sokkal kellemesebb hír, reménykedjünk a legjobbakban.

Progress at the pool ● Progres la bazin ● Haladás a medencénél

Based on today's news, it seems that the works for covering the Olympic size swimming pool at the Weekend Complex are indeed progressing to final stages.

Next week it is predicted that the tent or, as sometimes called, balloon will arrive and remaining work phases involve merely the connecting of the pool to the heating system, which has been completed.

The director of the Weekend Complex stated in the local press that after these few remaining steps, they would be making preparations for the opening. As per the initial plans, the pool would be fully available to sport and also, based on a certain timetable and ticketing scheme, to the public.

The current estimated date for the opening is cautiously placed somewhere at the start of next year.The progress is increasingly conditioned by winter weather, hence we hope the predictions can be turned into reality.

In countless ways, this is excellent news for the club and its training needs. With the help of a busy winter competition season, until the opening of the pool the players can at least benefit from regular match experiences... but it is hard to describe the level of anticipation that surrounds, quite rightly, the completion of the works...

Pe baza unor știri publicate azi, se par că lucrările pentru acoperirea bazinului olimpic de la Complexul Weekend au progresat spre fazele finale.

Săptămâna următoare este prezisă sosirea cortului, sau balonului după cum se face uneori referire la acesta, și etapele următoare cuprind numai conectarea bazinului la sistemul de încălzire care a fost deja terminat.

Directorul complexului a declarat în presa locală, că după terminarea acestor etape ale lucrărilor, se vor face pregătiri pentru deschiderea bazinului. În concordanță cu planurile inițiale, bazinul va fi alocat sportivilor și pe baza unui orar anume, și publicul va putea avea acces.

Estimata curentă pentru deschiderea bazinului este undeva în ianuarie anul viitor. Progresul este condiționat din ce în ce mai mult de către vreme, deci să sperăm că prezicerile se pot transforma în realitate.

În nenumărate privințe, acesta este o veste superbă pentru club. Cu ajutorul unui sezon de iarnă dens în competiții, până la deschiderea bazinului jucătorii se pot bucura măcar de experiențe regulate de meciuri... dar este dificil de descris nivelul de așteptări legate de finaliarea lucrărilor...

Mai hírek alapján úgy tűnik, hogy a Víkend Komplexum olimpiai méretű uszodájának befedési munkálatai az utolsó stádiumokba érkeztek.

Jövő hétre jósolják a sátor, azaz néha léggömbként emlegetett szerkezet megérkezését, és a hátralevő munkafázisok mindössze a medencének a már elkészült melegítőberendezéshez való bekötéséből állnak.

A komplexum igazgatója szerint ezek után a megnyitóra való felkészülés következne már. Az eredeti tervek szerint a sportolók teljesen kihasználhatják majd a medencét és bizonyos órarend szerint a közönség is majd használhatja.

A jelenlegi becslések szerint valamikor januárban megnyílna a medence. A haladást egyre inkább befolyásolja a téli időjárás beköszöntése is, így reméljük a becslések hamarosan valóra is válnak.

Számtalan szempontból ez rendkívül jó hír a klub számára. Egy sűrű téli versenynaptárnak köszönhetően a medence megnyitásáig legalább a játékosok rendszeres meccs tapasztalatokat szerezhetnek, de nagyon nehéz leírni a munkálatok befejezését körülvevő érthető várakozás szintjét...

The winter season is promising to be quite evenful for Aquasport’s coach and players.

While the eagerly awaited transformation of the 50m outdoors pool into an indoors one is progressing, and the Diapolo championship is well under way, the teams have further opportunities for acquiring very noteworthy match experience.

The regional championship in Hungary starts soon, Aquasport’s younger team has matches scheduled this coming Saturday already. This championship is also covered on the dedicated pages of the Hungarian Water Polo Federation’s website. Also there is the Transilvania Cup on the horizon.

So busy times ahead... The completion of the works at the local pool this month will bring unprecedented possibilities for their autumn-to-spring training, and with so many matches keeping the young players busy, one is truly glad to see that their further development seems assured.

Sezonul de iarnă este plin de evenimente pentru antrenorul și jucătorii clubului Aquasport.

În timp ce se așteaptă finalizarea lucrărilor de acoperire a bazinului de 50m în aer liber care progresează bine, campionatul Diapolo este în plină desfășurare și echipele au oportunități suplimentare pentru câștigarea de experiențe la meciuri demne de atenția noastră.

Campionatul regional din Ungaria începe curând, echipa mai tânără are meciuri programate pentru ziua de sâmbătă. Acest campionat este detaliat pe pagina Federației Ungare de polo pe apă. Mai apare pe orizont și Cupa Transilvania foarte curând.

Deci urmează o perioadă cu multe preocupări... Terminarea lucrărilor la bazinul local olimpic, anticipată pentru luna aceasta, va aduce totodată posibilități fără precedent pentru antrenamentul lor în pedioada de toamnă până primăvară. Cu atâtea meciuri pe orizontul tinerilor jucători, ne putem bucura că dezvoltarea lor pare asigurată.

A téli szezon eseménydúsnak ígérkezik az Aquasport edzője és a játékosok számára.

Miközben haladnak az 50 méteres medence befedését célozó munkálatok, amelynek befejezését mindenki nagyon várja, és a Diapolo bajnokság is alaposan zajlik már, a csapatoknak még több lehetőségeik lesznek jelentős meccs tapasztalatok megszerzésére.

A területi bajnokság elkezdődik nagyon hamarosan Magyarországon, a fiatalabb csapatnak szombaton már meccsei lesznek. Ezen bajnokság megjelenik a Magyar Vízilabda Szövetség honlapján is. Ezen kívül még következik a Transzilvánia Kupa is a láthatáron.

Így tehát sűrű periódus következik... Mindemellé a fedett medence e hónapban várt elkészülése is rendkívüli edzés lehetőségeket hoz az őszi-tavaszi periódusba, és ennyi mérkőzéssel a láthatáron, örömmel nyugtázható, hogy a fiatal játékosok további fejlődése bebiztosítottnak tűnik.

Successful day at the Diapolo championship ● O zi cu succes la campionatul Diapolo ● Sikeres nap a Diapolo bajnokságon

Aquasport had another successful afternoon at Budapest, at the Diapolo championship.

After the usual trip to Budapest on Friday, Aquasport's players had one match scheduled for Saturday with the team UVSE-B (Újpest Vízilabda Utánpótlás Sportegyesület).

The final score ended up 16:2 for Aquasport, and with some time reserved before their long journey home, the team can enjoy a relaxing period and a well-deserved rest.

This win also elevates them to 4th place in the Diapolo table, which can be followed at this link (although please note it usually needs time to catch up with all the match results - at the moment of writing this, it hasn't been updated yet).

Congratulations to everybody, as usual - and have a nice trip home.

Aquasport a avut încă o după-masă cu success la campionatul Diapolo de la Budapesta.

După călătoria obişnuită la Budapesta în ziua de vineri, jucătorii de la Aquasport au avut un meci programat pentru sâmbătă, cu echipa UVSE-B (Újpest Vízilabda Utánpótlás Sportegyesület).

Scorul final a fost 16:2 în favoarea lui Aquasport, şi cu ceva timp rezervat înainte de lunga lor călătorie spre casă, echipa va avea o perioadă de relaxare şi de odihnă bine meritată.
 
Această victorie îi ridică pe locul patru in tabela Diapolo, aceasta din urmă se poate urmări aici (în momentul acesta încă nu are toate actualizările, deci rezultatele apar mai târziu cu toate meciurile desfăşurate azi).

Felicitări tuturor, ca de obicei - şi o călătorie bună spre casă.

A szokásos pénteki Budapestre való utazás után az Aquasport játékosainak egy meccs volt a szombati órarendjükben, ezúttal az Újpest Vízilabda Utánpótlás Sportegyesület azaz UVSE-B csapatával.

A meccs 16:2-es eredménnyel ért véget az Aquasport javára, és mivel a hazautazás előtt van szabadidejük, lazíthatnak és élvezhetnek egy megérdemelt pihenést is.

Ezen győzelem a csapatot a negyedik helyre emeli a Diapolo bajnokság táblázatában, ez utóbbit itt lehet követni (noha figyelmükbe szeretnénk ajánlani, hogy pillanatnyilag még nem a legfrissebb információt láthatják ott, mivel az összes mai meccs eredményeit még be kell vezetni).

Ismét gratulálunk mindenkinek és jó hazautazást kívánunk.

Based around the recent eventful weekend at the Diapolo Championship at Budapest, a new article about the team has been accepted by Youth1.com (entitled Aquasport Junior Players Achieve Again).

Relative to previous blog post here about the matches that took place on 5 November, additional few paragraphs gave a brief description of the participation at this championship, and also the mention of admirable fair play from Honved Budapest, who supported the lads from Aquasport during their matches last Saturday and for which we extend here our thanks.

Un nou articol, bazat un pic pe sfârșitul de săptămână plin de evenimente de la campionatul Diapolo de la Budapesta, a fost acceptat de canalul media Youth1.com (întitulat Juniorii Aquasport continuă cu realizări).

Față de articolul de pe blog despre meciurile care au avut loc pe 5 Noiembrie, câteva rânduri au fost adăugate pentru publicul mai larg:

Am menționat cele două victorii trecute la același campionat, faptul ca echipa sub conducerea antrenorului Csaba Gagyi ia parte într-o competiție la care participă echipe extrem de puternice și astfel campionatul este și o oportunitate excelentă pentru dezvoltarea jucătorilor de la Aquasport.

Totodată am mai adăugat o mențiune specială despre admirabilul gest de fair play al echipei Honved Budapesta, care a venit în acea zi de sâmbătă ca suporter al băieților de la Aquasport, mulțumim încă o dată.

Egy újabb, az elmúlt eseménydús hétvége leírásán alapuló cikket fogadott el közlésre a Youth1.com ifi sport csatorna a csapat életébe való frissebb betekintéssel (Aquasport fiataljai ismét sikert valósítanak meg címmel).

A blogon a november 5-ikei eseményekről a közelmúltban megjelentetett cikk tartalmát még pár sorral bővítettük a tágasabb olvasóközönség számára.

Megemlítésre kerültek a közelmúlt sikerei és az, hogy a csapat Gagyi Csaba vezetésével részt vesz egy olyan bajnokságon, ahol rendkívül erős csapatok játszanak, így a verseny kitűnő fejlődési lehetőségeket is jelent az Aquasport játékosai számára.

Ugyanakkor még kiemeltük a Honvéd Budapest különösen szép sportszerű gesztusát, mivel azon a szombati napon eljöttek szurkolni az Aquasport srácainak, amit itt ismét köszönünk.

An intense weekend ● Un sfârşit de săptămânâ intens ● Egy intenzív hétvége

It was one of those weekends that brought an impressive journey for the team in many ways... Although writing this again from a distance, the emotional impact of the events have managed to cross that distance with great ease.

Two matches were scheduled for Aquasport on Saturday in the Diapolo championship at Budapest. As usual, just to put this in context, it meant a trip that takes around nine hours, with a Friday departure after a school week, followed by the the day when Aquasport was to meet the teams that were occupying first and second place in the championship tables.

First match was with FTC Budapest, who are directly supplying players for the Hungarian national team. Second match followed after a few hours with KSI S.E., a similarly impressive team also directly supplying talent to the national team. Must also add that they have remained unbeaten for a very long time. One can imagine not only their level that commands deep respect, but also the conditions in which they are able to train. Having to play two away matches with teams of this calibre, it is fair to say that Aquasport faced an extremely tough Saturday afternoon, both physically and psychologically.

The first match with FTC ended with score 16:6 in FTC's favour and in less than two hours came the second major match. At the end of an extremely tight match, in the last five minutes the lads from Aquasport turned upside down a score of 11:9 stacked against them... and won the match with 12:11.

As a purely personal opinion, the young players' determination and admirable ability to tap into further and further mental & physical energy reserves, that made them end an extremely tough day on a victorious note, is truly worthy of a hefty dose of respect. One is trying to imagine what these lads will be capable of when their continuous access to a proper training facility will be resolved...

Their day concluded with another, this time geographical journey - and the team arrived home in the very early hours of this morning. Once again congratulations to the entire team and wishing everybody a good rest and a pleasant start for next week.

A fost un sfârşit de săptămână care a adus pentru echipă o călătorie în mai multe sensuri ale cuvântului... Cu toate că aceste rânduri se scriu iarăşi de la distanţă, impactul emoţional al evenimentelor a reuşit să traverseze acea distanţă cu mare uşurinţă.

Sâmbătă două meciuri au fost programate pentru Aquasport la campionatul Diapolo de la Budapesta. Ca de obicei, numai ca să punem acest fapt în context, aceasta însemna o călătorie de nouă ore, cu pornire în ziua de vineri după o săptămână de şcoală, urmată de ziua în care Aquasport era să se întâlnească cu echipele care ocupau primul şi al doilea loc în clasament.

Primul meci a fost cu FTC Budapest, care furnizează jucători pentru naţionala Ungariei. Al doilea meci era cu KSI S.E., o echipă similar de impresionantă, care a rămas neînvinsă pentru o perioadă lungă. Putem să ne imaginăm nu numai nivelul lor care comandă respect, dar şi condiţiile în care acestea pot să se antreneze. Trebuind sa joace două meciuri cu echipe de acest calibru, este normal să spunem că Aquasport era să aibă o sâmbătă după-masă extrem de grea din punct de vedere fizic şi psihic.

Primul meci cu FTC a luat sfârşit cu scorul de 16:6 în favoarea lui FTC, şi în două ore urma al doilea meci. La sfârşitul acestui meci extrem de tensionat, în ultimele cinci minute băieţii de la Aquasport au răsturnat complet scorul de 11:9 împotriva lor şi au învins cu 12:11.

Ca părere personală, nivelul de perseverență a jucătorilor tineri şi capacitatea lor de a găsi rezerve fizice şi psihice, care a adus victorie la sfârşitul unei zile extrem de dificile, sunt într-adevăr demne de respect. Încercăm să ne imaginăm de ce vor fi capabili când accesul continuu la facilităţi de antrenament va fi în sfârşit asigurat.

Ziua lor s-a terminat cu încă o călătorie, de data asta una geografică - şi echipa a ajuns acasă azi în zori. Încă o dată felicitări întregii echipe şi dorim tuturor odihnă plăcută şi un început bun pentru săptămâna viitoare.

A hétvége a szó több értelmében vett utazást hozott a csapatnak... Noha ezen sorok ismét bizonyos távolságból íródnak, az események emocionális hatása könnyedén átszelte azon távolságot.

Szombaton két Aquasport meccs volt a programban a budapesti Diapolo bajnokságon. Mint máskor, hogy ezt picit kontextusba helyezzük, ez kilenc órás utazást jelentett pénteki indulással egy majdnem teljes suli hét után. Ezt követte az a nap, amelyen az Aquasport-nak találkoznia kellett a táblázat első és második helyén álló csapattal.

Az első meccs az FTC-vel volt, ezen csapat a magyar válogatott egyik utánpotlási csapata. A második meccs a KSI S.E.-vel következett, amely egy hasonlóan lenyűgöző csapat. Sőt, ezen csapat veretlen hosszú ideje. El tudjuk talán képzelni nem csak ezen csapatok tiszteletet parancsoló szintjét, hanem azt is, hogy milyen körülmények között tudnak edzeni. Két ilyen csapattal játszandó meccsel a láthatáron természetes azt mondanunk, hogy az Aquasport egy fizikailag és pszichikailag rendkívül nehéz szombat délutánnak nézett elébe.

Az első, FTC-vel játszott meccs 16:6-ra végződött az FTC javára és két óra múlva következett is a második meccs. Ezen rendkívül feszült játszma végén, az utolsó öt percben az ellenük szóló 11:9-es eredménynél a srácok teljesen megfordították a meccset és győztek 12:11-re.

Magánvéleményként, az ifi játékosok rendíthetetlen elszántsága mellett az a képességük is külön tiszteletet érdemel, hogy egy ilyen nehéz nap végén is győzelmet hozó újabb és újabb fizikai és lelki energiatartalékokat találtak és vetettek harcba. Nehéz elképzelni, hogy mire lesznek képesek amikor megoldódik a folyamatos és korlátlan hozzáférésük egy megfelelő edzőbázishoz.

A napjuk egy újabb, ezúttal földrajzi utazással zárult, és a csapat ma hajnalban ért haza. Még egyszer gratulációk az egész csapatnak és kívánunk mindenkinek jó pihenést és kellemes hétkezdést.

Almost winter season ● Aproape sezon de iarnă ● Majdnem téli szezon

November started on a busy note, the Diapolo championship at Budapest continues full force and the winter season has a few other tournaments in store for the teams.

As mentioned in the recent past, the players are admirably balancing their school commitments, training and competition efforts (latter coming also with far from negligible travel efforts). The works for covering the outdoors pool seem to be on track, so it just can't be emphasised enough with how much excitement and expectation the progress is being followed by the teams.

On the considerably easier blog front, just a few housekeeping updates...

One could notice that Blogger.com has eventually fixed the mighty hiccup with the page comments.

Also, we added a contact page with a few email addresses, and a small entry on the profile page to give overall information about the club and the teams, continuing with the addition of personal profiles in the near future.

As promised in the recent past, the Press page was updated now with translations of the article titles in all three languages (however, the Slovak article eludes the capabilities of the author of present lines... but help much appreciated :)  ).

Noiembrie a debutat cu multe preocupări pentru echipe, campionatul Diapolo de la Budapesta continuă în forță și sezonul de iarnă mai aduce câteva alte turnee la care echipele vor participa.

Cum am mai menționat în trecut, jucătorii echilibrează admirabil obligațiile lor la școală cu antrenamentele și concursurile (acestea din urmă însemnând și eforturi legate de deplasări). Lucrările de acoperire a piscinei în aer liber se pare că progresează bine, și nu putem accentua îndeajuns de mult că progresul este urmărit cu o doză enormă de așteptări și excitație.

Pe frontul mult mai ușor legat de blog, câteva mențiuni legate de ”gospodărit”...

S-a putut observa că Blogger.com a reparat problema legată de comentarii pe paginile statice.

Am mai adăugat o mică secțiune cu informații despre club și echipe la pagina de profiluri, aici urmând să construim și profiluri personale.

Cum am promis recent, am actualizat acum pagina de Presă cu traducerile titlurilor articolelor (cu exceptia unui articol din Slovacia, care a depășit cu mult capacitățile autorului acestor rânduri... dar ajutor este binevenit :) ).

November sűrű hónapként indult a csapatok számára, a budapesti Diapolo bajnokság folytatódik teljes erővel és a téli szezon még több turnét hoz, amelyeken a csapatok részt vesznek majd.

Mint még említettük a közelmúltban, a játékosok tiszteletre méltó módon tartják egyensúlyban az iskolai kötelezettségeiket az edzésekkel és versenyekkel (az utóbbiak nem elhanyagolható utazással is járnak). A szabadtéri medence befedéséhez a munkálatok jól haladnak, és nem lehet elégszer ismételni, hogy milyen izgalommal és várakozással követjük a haladást.

A dolgok bloggal kapcsolatos sokkal könnyebb oldalán, egy pár "háztartási" megjegyzés ezúttal...

Észrevehető volt, hogy a Blogger.com végre kijavította az oldalak kommentjeivel kapcsolatos alapos hibát.

A profil oldalhoz még egy kis részt tettünk fel, ami a klubról és csapatokról ad általános információt, ezt személyes profilokkal is bővítjük.

Mint nemrég ígértük, a Sajtó oldalon a cikkek címeinek fordításait megoldottuk (egy szlovák cikk kivételével, amely messze meghaladta jelen sorok írójának képességeit... de segítséget szívesen fogadunk :) ).
